Typical, you suggest the BH's lose out in any way whatsoever, and they call you stupid and abuse you no end.

BH's, go die in a fire, you haven't a gram of logic or sense between you and the world would be a much better place without your type of thought processes in it.

This is not directed to the(mostly) cool pre-CU BH's that actually had to do some sort of difficult grinding to get where they are and are in it for the profession and the hunt and the fun, rather than the need for pwnage which most seem to lackanyway because they're too poor and /or they suck.

I think it was a pretty good post well rounded for both sides of the arguement. But here are my thoughts not that anyone will pay attention.

The Jedi proffession in my opinion is borked, Putting ALL defense in defender serverly limits players to templates, if they dont have defender in their template they suffer extremly badly. And even if they do have Master Defender it appears on the surface to be TKM with out the fighting skills, COB does exactly the same thing and force aura, Dominate mind is the same as ataunt bonus, the only other skill Defenders have is Valor and from reading what is does reduces the amount of damageit Jedi does. And i think im write in saying it doesnt even total the same amount of defense as a double master.

The fact that if you have no defender in your template means you are basically fighiting a losing battle, and I know that first hand.

Three things that where not mentioned where Armour and Food and Buffs. I have heard that Armourcan have up to 6000 energy resists on it and add a 2000 Energy resist psg into the mix you are looking at 8000 energy resists. And seeing as a jedi has NO resists to anytype of incoming fire it seems alittle unfair, and the fact that all that resist serverly reduces the Jedis Damage output as well is some what ironic. Seeing as the Lightsaber ismeant to bea unique and indistructable weapon.

It is my thinking that a BH when hunting a mark would get buffed and take food, the amount of times I have seen a BH stacked up with stuff is incredible, Jedi dont have that luxury, they just have to work on a "when it happens it happens" basis. So add that with the armour too and you might as well stroke the BH with a popsicle.

Also if you are talking about role play, BH are meant to be the tyrany of the galaxy, and Jedi are the protectors of peace and justice albeit the Jedi are fighitng a losing battle. So why cant Jedi get missions to Hunt Bounty Hunters ? makes sense no ? they dont have to be credit paying missions because thats not what a Jedi is about, but the Jedi could get some kind of Bonus for carrying out the act. And just because you dont see Jedi in the movies doesnt mean they arent there, do you see nightsisters in the movies ?

Also the fact that BH's can gank a Jedi and a Jedi has to fight on his on is really wrong. Thats like saying when in PVP a rebel cant heal another rebel, or an imperial cant heal an imperial, whats up with that ?

The Jedi/BH hunter fight is unstable and favours the BH, there is hardly if not any skill envolved from the side of the BH, its about Armour, Buffs, Food, and the power of the weapon, Jedi cant have any of that andeven if they do get buffed 99% of the time it will run out before they fight a BH. And the fact that master healer, heal timers are slower than a BH's is hmm wrong also.

When I pve with freinds its alot of fun, I mean I went hunting with a friend and took on a level 90 it was a good fight we used tactics to win the day, then he got hunted by a level 80 player and did not stand chance. Maybe some people will say well yeah 2 lvl 80's hitting a 90 means its basically a level 45, but if we didnt use tactics we would have been mince meat. So does that seem fair ? a hammer doing more damage than a lightsaber ?

Those are some of my thoughts anyway, thinking about it here and now I am sure I have missed something and someone will correct me.

On the surface this looks like an interesting post but then you shift it over to the pro-jedi perspective by wanting to punish bounty hunters and it all falls apart.

I didn't become a BH out of sabre envy, I became a BH because it was the most appealing class in the game to me, the hate between the jedi and BH community is fueled, at least in part, by those who don't deserve a jedi going "haha you only hate jedi cos you suxz0r too much to be one". I have little to no interest in being a jedi, but the sad thing is, I'll probably end up being one because it'll get to the stage that you can't do anything in the game unless you have one.

The solution is simple, take jedi out of the PVP side of the GCW, make light jedi vs dark jedi thier side of the war, you'll get a lot of complaints but that is how you separate the men from the boys, the jedi who only unlocked to PWNZOR in the GCW will cry, the jedi who unlocked because they really want to be jedi for the right reasons will breathe a sigh of relief.
