Damned expensive force wise to use and it only lasts 30 secs, not really gamebreaking.

Well, in the current situation, duel last less than 30 sec, so for a duel, if one is master def, he will win against a jedi without.
BUT, to be fair, a range smart, can root a master def and go over range to wait for the 30sec timer.(a enhancer could also supress 15 sec and leave)
So it is powerfull, but not overwellming.

As a master defender This skill is awesome, its only worth while for those legendary weapons though otherwise the fc is to high. Against most bounty hunters there is no need to enen utilize this skill as they cant do enough damage to even warrent healing...

Please tell me they decided not to change this. I really don't want Avoid Incap to become useless.
That happened to me too, i kept spin&dervish going and never lost the agro, but the other way around happened as well even with the agro buffs on me from SL in group. So i can not tell if its working as nerfed or still working the way used to.
In pvp when you hit AI every target becomes a lair lol, agro - noagro- agro- noagro lol
Its annoying either way. Anyways the answer i can give to your q is, yes its almost useless now. And we don t know for sure what will be the effects when you use it which is the worst part.
The point in the Avoid Incap change was not intended to prevent players from keeping themselves from becoming incapacitated and protecting their group, it was intended to prevent soloing things that shouldn't be possible (eg: Soloing things where Avoid Incap is a must because you take too much damage to stay alive).
If you notice you still enter and exit combat (lightsaber ignites on and off), so the change is still there.

I just went to the dark jedi enclave and the 2 sentinels followed me almost all the way down into the enclave while i was chaining ai....
plenty of aggro there.... they didn't lose interest....
