currently the defender tree at the end is borked. Suggest you just get MLS, 4404 Enh, 4404 Healer /shrug or 4004 Healer and dabble

why do some people say defender works? and others say its broken?

How about MLS/Heal 4204/Enhance 4003/ Powers 0004?
Mostly for self-sufficient PvE and the Powers 0004 is for flavor (seems just about every Jedi in the movies throws things or knocks people down).
Questions:
1) Will the lack of Meditate make a difference, and if so, would losing Force Knockdown 2 to get it be worth it?
2) This has about 300 less Force and 4 less Regen than a MLS/Heal 4404/Enhance 4404 template. Is that a huge difference?

I know every1 says u need MLS....but hows this sound..
Master Defender,LS 0 0 4 4, heal 4 0 0 4, enh 2 0 0 3.
Any1 with some constructive alternitives?
I need the pros and cons to this template..

at 0044 half the shots from ranged people hit you...hmm your dead
at 0044 your not speed capped with your saber...hmm your dead
at 0044 your not using a 4th gen...hmm your dead
at 0044 your not using Dervish2/flurry2...hmm your dead
fact is, your dead...you cant compete with a MLS knight 1v1..you cant compete with a group of ranged..you cant compete with a group of melee..you just cant compete..if you like seeing the ceiling of the cloner this is the template to get i guess

An alternative to that would be Master LS, Healer 4004, Enhancer 2003, Defender 4004

Epono..Doesnt Master Defenders skills make up for the lack of of getting MLS box. Defender gets ranged defs,melee defs. Would that not of set getting the extra block from master LS?
