BH's should be as rare as Jedi
Simpla as that, noob Jedi should be weak the same as noob BH should also be weak
BH/Jedi are supposed to be the uber classes, then make BH as hard to get as Jedi

you know what i have noticed about being a MBH, when i take a jedi mission and DB a jedi he loose all kinds of xp for the death, now if i die then i loose my weapon or my bike or maybe my armor. but IMHO i dont think my lose is anywere near his, there is no telling how long it took him to get that xp , it wont take me any time at all to replace my gear, even if i some how lost it all, still i could easy replace it all. i think jedi wouldnt be so upset about dieing if there was some kind of balance in the system, maybe we should have just a much to loose as them, that way when we kill them are they kill us then we both suffer the same penalties for dieing , it wont be so one sided then. shoot i saw a jedi today loose 260k xp , im grind fs boxes to get the bonus and i know how long it takes to get . so being a MBH myself i think we should have just as much to loose as them.
just a thought
What's so unbalanced about it. I figure, on average, it takes 5 hours of play time to successfully complete a Jedi mission, accounting for all the preparation, and all the times you get there and find out you can't kill the jedi for one reason or another.
Do you think it really takes the jedi so much longer to make up for the lost XP? Should it really be even, considering the fact that Jedi are SUPPOSED to be rare, but in reality, there are probably more of them than there are of us?

yes, but i dont know who you would be able to kill with that template. Ive seen a master bh wearing jedi robes, quite an irony.

Yep. And you can die often while doing it.
But I can see how you could work it. Track your mark down, wearing robes, saber, Jedi Padawan title over your head. Stroll up, talk shop and in a weak moment, hit them like they stole something. Then hope you can take them out before the shock wears off.
But I wouldn't really expect that to work for very long, and you might find yourself with a mess of neg Jedi Exp.

it will land you on the terms and without a good sized force pool and regen. no force healing for clearing states. you WILL get KD/dizzy and killed repeatedly by other BH.
then you end up with massive negative XP and will be ofrced to grind that off to level the rest of jedi.
while it works well for a few kills on very low level paddywackers in the long run you will be a nice target for a lot of BH.

but if alls you want jedi for its tag and not to be all powerful then really xp loss dose not matter. besides if you were carful enough not to put your robs on in populated area's and stuff i say you could keep rather safe for a while. in any event if i did get on the terms then i would not use a saber to fight, cause after all i would not really be jedi. call it grifting if you want but if there is a price on your head you shouldn't trust anyone.
Han trusted Lando and look where it got him.

If you took your own mission, and blew yourself up with a bomb droid, would you get the payout?

there is a mls jedi bounty hunter on bria. One fall back to his template is that he has no healing skills and not much of a force bar. However, he does kill weak padawans, but i have yet to see him on the terminals.

while its raw effectiveness may be questionable, it does sound like a template that could be a lot of fun to play.
i always try to say 'the best template is the one you have the most fun with'.
it IS, after all, ROLEplaying and not ROLLplaying.
