Is there a list of known exploits? How can I protect myself from inadvertenly performing an exploit, without a list that is readily available?

This case is a prime exaple. Im in between templates, am lvl 69 have less than 2.5k ham and have absolutely no defences. For all these reasons, I dont see any way of wining a fight against more than one lvl 80. Thus I bagan droping a house next to my lairs, (started today). 2 bh attack, and thankfully dont catch me completely off guard, i notice one, and head to my house. I'm kd paralized and given many states, If I had decided to try and kd one of my opponents before making a beeline to the door, i would have exploited without being the wiser.
