In fact, I had two BH try that tactic on me and I beat them both. Whoever this poster is trying it on probably has a 300dps saber and no defender. Heck, my fight was so easy I didnt even use those 1500 heals of mine. Improved infusion and force aura kept me fine
actually without valor you would be easyier to kill than the MDef's iv been using it on, and "striking distance"? All I need to do is hit concussion then walk back out of your range.... you cant do squat about it
Part of the reason for posting this thread in such an obvious way is to attact dev attention.... I hope I succeeded.

Ok... JavaHulkis on Corbantis server. Anyone know him personally? What's his pvp rating at the moment?
I would imagine it would be extremely high if this is working as advertised. If not, it will be extremely low.
I just don't like the lack of defences with the template are you speaking of. Just as a Jedi cannot move during a root, neither can you. You will miss with the root eventually and the Jedi will root you and run right up to you, taking away your accuracy even more. Then he/she will filet you alive. Happens to me occasionally, but you gotta take the losses with the wins.
While I do use some of your "technique" here, I'm not a wholly unbiased subscriber to it.
I do typically KD, Root, sniper, critical, repeat... but if the jedi is a healer you are SOL on this. And BTW, I have a 1300 dmg rifle at less than 2 speed with the pup on it. My DPS is over 900 so I know it's not my "equipment" I do miss, and miss a lot against the mdefneders popping dodge food.
This tactic should work fine, depending on a few factors.
1. Concussion shot does prevent healing, moving, and attacking. Panic shot only prevents attacking, not moving and healing. If you ever have to use a panic shot, you won't be able to prevent them healing or running up to you. Once they are close to you, you cannot sniper shot.
2. The recycle on Concussion is a lot shorter than the duration. Improved concussion lasts 40 seconds, and the refresh is done in 3-5 secs or so. So you can shoot concussion as soon as the sniper goes off.
3. However, there is an 'immunity' period on concussion. You cannot do concussion/sniper/concussion/sniper ad nauseam. Once someone has been concussed they are immune to concussion for a period of time. I don't know exactly what it is, but it's at least 15 seconds, probably around 20 secs. This means it is possible to keep someone permanently unable to move/attack/heal (wait till concussion starts to run out, then do it again), but you cannot do it as every other shot, even with the warmup timer on sniper.
4. The recycle on Snipershot is also fairly long - you can't do it as every other shot. Nothing to stop you simply not shooting to not break the mez, but you can't chain it that fast.
I don't plan on changing to this template myself, because I think the problem with jedi is not outdamaging their heals, but rather hitting them. As soon as you miss a concussion, and you will, because you will miss on average 50-66% of your specials against a full template, you are forced to use panic or some other shot, or stand up and run. Once you don't have them under concussion, they can heal, FR, anything they like except hit you. Once you miss a panic as well, they are likely to be on top of you. Ultimately, I think a full template jedi who sees this happening to him will simply be patient until you miss your concuss, then heal and you'll have to start again at best, or die at worst. And since he's not using any force really, you will have a hell of a time putting them down.
Still, it's a powerful combo and no reason it shouldn't work against someone who panics and doesn't know what to do.

Panic shot does stop healing, just no root. However KD+Panic shot = slightly shorter concussion. Not having the root doesent matter much. If my concussion shot misses, I hit panic. They run up to me, cant do anything, I run aim then concussion, then just run back to my 65m range... so theres no prob here

Wrong, the immunity is what the devs are adding pub 20-21. Till then you can do it all you want lol. Theres NO immunity of any sort, I can spam concussion all I like lol. If it did damage I would =).

Sniper shot is 5sec> delay with a combat speed buff, and as your using concussion between then, it doesent matter one bit. You can do it every other shot pretty easy due to concussion shot.... the speed of the chain is irrelevant if they cannot heal, the doc buff makes the heal window tiny as iv said.

Actually if they are KD'd (as they should be the entire fight lol) they need to KD recover befor they can advance a step. The time it takes them to do that will be plenty to panic shot. Or lay in another KD. The KD timer ignores the concussion shot, so you can KD them after every concussion if need be.
