Being quite new to SWG, I started out blasting away in the beginning of the game and soon mastered the Marksman Profession. After looking at some other player and their guns, I decided to get myself trained in the Commando Profession. At the moment, I'm a bit stuck, because I would like to become a Master Bounty-Hunter, but also would like to keep some of my Commando-skills.
My current template is:
Marksman 4/4/4/4 + Master Title
Commando 4/4/4/4 + Master Title
Scout 0/0/4/0 (for harvesting along the way) => I know I need 4/0/0/0 at least for BH.
Brawler 4/0/0/0/ (was required for being Commando)
Rifleman 2/1/1/1 (had nothing better to do)
I've read the excellent FAQ about the weaponry a BH can handle, and I decided I would like to use/keep these weapons in the end:
Advanced Scatter Pistol
Advanced Laser Carbine
FlameThrower (also to be used on other missions/quests outside the specific BH-assignments)
I've read the excellent FAQ about the support-professions a BH can use, but have no clue what/where to head:
Medic
Are there any Master BHs out here that are willing to help me out in this matter? What skills do I need to drop from my currect template, what skills do I need training in "on short notice" in my early BH carreer and what skills are extremely useful once I approach the Master BH?

AWSOME choice, I think you'll find BH+Commando to be awsome at EVERYTHING, Im currently loving it.

I don' t know if it is a good idea.. depends on what you want to reach...
it could be good in pve, as you have a lot of high damaging weapons.
I think it isn' t the best jedi hunter template as an MBH commando will have a lot of useless pvp weapons ( most heavy weapons have poor accuracy)
It' s just my opinion

The big thing with building a template is making sure that each part of the template functions and works to better your character. It is possible to go MBH, and 0/3/3/3 in Commando, and doing that will give the BH an arsanal of weapons thatthey can unleash upon unsuspecting Jedi(or anything for that matter). The only thing is, that with doing this you're BH will not gain any superb ability's that it couldn't do before. Although being able to set your oponents on fire(and do the damage that you do with a flame thrower) is quite nice, it will not increase your skill as a bounty hunter(as the LLC already deals mega damage at close range)
I would say that your best bet is to take a profession that somehow complements the BH profession, like Carbineer or Pistoleer.I would even say that it might even be better to master Rifleman rather than go commando. By doing this you will be able to use a rifle proficiantly, and increase you're ability to damage your opponent.
Even better might be the thought of going Carbineer. As a carbineer you will be able to use specials that give status effects similar to that of a TKA. In the end I think you will be more satisfied as a carbineer just for the sheer number of effect shots you get.(at least I think that's what carbineer gets... I'm too lazy to check right now

He's right. If you aren't going to master commando, get nothing more than flamesingle2 from that tree, and grab more pistol or carbine.

Can anyone please help me with a template where I can have TKM and another proffession that together will have good stacked defenses I'm hearing good things about TKM/MPistoleer/MS but, I was wondering if I should take that or not (I'm probably mostly gonna do melee). Any help would be appreciated.

I'm going Master Rifleman/BH 3/0/0/0 and that leaves me63 points left over. I want to PvE/Jedi Hunt as effectively possible so I was wondering about where to put the remainder of my points to make that as easy as possible. I have looked at many different combos but not sure as to whether defense vs states or defense vs melee/ranged were better. One template I thought about was MR-BH 3/0/0/0-Pistoleer 0/0/4/4-with 14 points to put in medic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ranged is not even close of a match against a Jedi with Saber Block. So that means melee if you are going to hunt other people than initiates or whoever doesn't have saber block. TKA seems to be popular now because of KD and it is good in PvP and PvE.

Get rid of rifleman and go into TKA or get ahold of Tajiri apparently nobody can kill him...This of course being one of his victims speaking.
