I am TKM/Master Rifleman and few others then CMs can take me now, if you add some fencer you could get 70kd defence and capped melee/ranged defence... Rifleman is also an very good profession!

How is my template geared for PvP. I used that template for a month, was able to solo NS elders. Granted it took forever, but thats what the pistols are for. Ive never understood adding Swordsman to a TKA template as the TKA get a mind hit of their own. And its pretty decent at that. Dodge is great for PvE when nothing can hit you.

Not for me, I started as Master Pistoleer w/my alt and was working up TKA. Not once did I ever dodge when while my VK was equiped.
dodge works fine for me, regardless of what weapon i have out. there no animation like with the pistol or sword, but you still dodge more

right now im a master carbineer and master squad leader as well as a master marksman. I am thinking about dropping some of my SL skills to get some bounty hunter carbine training. I am wondering what you guys think.
Do you think revamp will be soon and i shouldnt get rid of the SL skills now?
Do you think the SL skills will be a pain to earn back and i should not lose them while i have them? (in this case i would just wait until combat balance to make my carbineer more effective)
If you think i should drop some of the skills to get the bounty hunter carbine skills which of boxes can i do without?
please guys give me some help on this decision.

ONe thing to remember is that this BH change isn't supposed to be permanent.. It's just a temporary band-aid until the Devs can fix some of the BH issues & combat-balance stuff...

well, your template aint too bad for pvp, if I am not wrong you have a **edit**load of defences vs states but not very much melee and ranged defence (only the TKM one and Novice fencer), you have melee dammage mitigation 3 and ranged dammage minigation 2 if I remember correctly... and medic is very nice for both PVP and PVE. but if you wanna be even better in pvp i would take fencer 4400 if i were you... melee and ranged defence cap at 125!

Yeraze ,
You mind finding me a link somewhere from a dev saying that after tons of BH's drop 3/4 of scout to have *USEFUL* templates the devs plan to reinstate the BS known as Master Scout Pre-Req?
I see no reason why BH needs more SP allocated to it than commando.

The devs also stated they were considering this change for quite a while... so while it might be a band-aid, it's a permanant fix.

I sure hope so. I really like the idea of MBH/<SL and would hate to have to sell back SL skill boxes to get trapping and hunting again.

well guys i did it. I sacrificed a large portion of SL for BH carbine tree. And i am quite happy. I will head back up SL before revamp time probably but until then my Carbine skills are quite awesome. I left SL at 3214 so i have all of my terrain negotiation, steady aim, retreat, and ranged defense.
