Thread: I have a question.

Hello.
I have been playing SWG since it's release and I really never wanted to have a Jedi character, and before I used my first holocron, I mastered Marksman, Teras Kasi and Pistoleer. But two and 1/2 weeks ago after taking a four month breakfrom SGW, I decided to use my first Holocron, and I was shocked to get the message that it was silent, and that I must continue my quest.
My question is, am I eligible for holo credits?
If anyone could help me with my question, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for you time,
Colonel Flyn Darkwave, rebel alliance.
I am afraid all holocrons became silent after publish nine. Publish ten is due to be patched in next Tuesday, and you will be able to check your force sensitive status withe the command /checkforce. What you can do in the meantime is go collect up the POI badges, reference this post :-
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=TestCenter&message.id=84612
for some ideas on this, and then check your status on Tuesday.
Good luck.

Hi ![]()
To find out what level of pets you can tame, check your skills sheet and look under your tab of skills you currently have (skill modifiers.) That should tell you what CL pets you can tame. Or you can add it up yourself- check the mods of each box you've trained in CH so far past novice and add up the "max number of pet levels +2" that you see. Check the mods that each skill box you've trained in has and add it all up or just look for the skill modifier for max level of pets.
The skill modifier numbers are just telling you what you can have and what you're able to do. For example, if it says "Max level of pets 30" then you are only able to tame pets that are CL30 or below. There's not too much to interpret- they're just telling you straight up what the highest CL you can tame is, or how many pets you're allowed to have stored in your datapad, etc.
Hope this helps some- good luck! ![]()

I know I am going to sound like a total newb. I am a 4221 CH. I am a combined CL70 (MRifle/CH4221/CM4xxx). Anyway, back on topic, At 4221, what level pets am I able to tame. I tried to tame a picket longhorn baby, and couldnt. Most of my pet inventory is level 14 to 16 currently.I guess this leads me into my next question. How do I interpret the skill modifiers, such as Taming Wild Creatures, Max level creatures, Max number of pets, Creature Taming.. etc. What do those numbers really tell me? Any help would be appreciated.Oh, and one last thing. At 4221, I am still unable to pull 2 pets out at once? bum deal.***edit Oh, and I am wookie, if that helps. Thanks, god I feel like such a newbie, but I am having a blast with this template.Message Edited by Jedi_Xan on 08-23-2005 07:56 AM
Max level creatures tells you what level of critter you are able to control, this should be related to what you can tame also, this is a bit confusing as it'll say something like +18, not just 18, which lead me to believe that I had the non CH 10 +12 at novice, but no, its just 12 at novice.
Max number of pets I belive is how many you can store in the datpad.
Creature taming and taming wild creatures controls you chance of sucessfully taming something, these stats can be buffed through the use of clothing, and/or food (Jawa beer I think)
Finally I think you get the ability to call 2 pets at xxx3 and 3 pets at master.
(making up numbers here)
My combat log said XXXX hits XXXX for 2000 energy out of a possible 2000 energy.
Also is there an attack that allows MBH to slay someone from range?
I personaly saw a MBH 2 shot and slay another player from 50m away. 7 other players in the same group saw it. So it wasnt just lag on my part.
