Look, I don't "hate" Jedi as you seem to think any and all Bounty Hunter players must, you all are an endless source of amusement.

Like the Jedi who yelled profanities at me last night because he was standing too close to my mark while I was fighting him - I was "too close which was generating vis for him". Like I owed hime something -yet he couldn't be bothered to put his stupid saber away. =\

No, the Jedi could mass exodus and this game would go on. You myfriend, severly underestimate the draw of the Star Wars franchise, but, whatever helps you sleep better at night. =\

In the end, I think if you really got to the bottom line, I think you'd be amazed - I think you'd find that more of us would be interested in hunting smugglers than Jedi, and ironically enough, more smugglers (than Jedi) are actually interested in BEING hunted.

One day, if SOE ever wises up and institutes ACTUAL smuggling with ACTUAL consequences (i.e. player bounties), I'd wager you and all your Jedi buds will be free to skip through the fields of Correlia, sabers ignited unfettered and unmolested as the rest of the player base merrily forsakes this bastardization of the timline in favor of some real Star Wars action.

LMAO

/wipes tear... yeah I almost got through that with a straight face.

I'm tempted to go Jedi, just to grind in privacy and fill out my template without ever having a single Bounty placed on my head. Of course, that would require me to play a Jedi, which I have no desire to do, and still wouldn't silence the bickering and pointless forum trolling that goes on around here. =\

The game is 2 years old, the poor customer service is well documented, it's pretty safe to say there aren't going to be any massive influxes of new subscriptions. And if I'm wrong, Well I don't really care.

If the majority of the player base did a "mass exodus" the game would cost more than it brings in - effectively shutting it down. So if it is as people say and jedi are up there in numbers in terms of what characters the majority of people either play, or are aspiring to play (how many groups have you been in where at least half of the non-jedi where making village runs?) and they quit due to being nerfed into being unplayable or were removed entirely you would have a bunch of people who paid money and sunk time into something for absolutely nothing. I think you grossly underestimate the value of the bulk of the player base.

I ground out half of my template solo, trust me if you did have any interest in being a jedi that would kill it. Spending months grinding and grinding to be able to have a character that is up to par with a character that can be ground out in two or three days.....It's a joke.

Listen I understand what you are trying to say, but I think you will find that there are more "normals" than Jedi. As I stated in my first reply to you, SOE published a chart of professions, granted they showed Masters and Jedi are spread over various professions, but IIRCJedi characters were not the majority.

Update I found it here

How many of those were jedi alts, people working for jedi etc.... Besides, there's an IF in there in case you missed that. But it doesn't change the fact that without Jedi StarWars would have been another poorly written, badly acted space travesty.

Indeed if the title of the thread was "Star Wars crap without Jedi" i'd say you had a point, however in SWG as other posts of stated, Bounty Hunters as is, do not need Jedi. There is plenty of content such as the GCW and NPC missions to keep the majority, if not all, BH's busy.

Sorry but i was a mbh before there were jedi so i allready have been there without you and will be here even when there are no more.

I dont need jedi sitting in house afk all day wasting my time because they dont want to accept that when they become a jedi they would be hunted by bounty hunters. If they didnt want to accept being hunted they should not become jedi.

Jedi became what they are fully knowing the rules and that they would be hunted and after becoming jedi want to change the rules. LET THEM ALL LEAVE

I think the non jedi parts of starwars were as strong as the jedi parts. It has an abundance of depth in the entertainer, smuggler and bh scene. Plus the starfighters and space battle were far better than you would find in other films like star trek.

And yet, the 4 most popular Jedi professions are, overall, less utilized than Creature Handler.

Hmmm...

This isn't proof that Jedi players outnumber non-Jedi, it's proof that Commandos, Pikemen, Fencers and Squad Leaders need(ed) some SERIOUS attention. (Yeah, I know, SL just got it.)

Really, you can't count onthe popularity of the Force Sensitives, there are many, many players out there who are only augmenting their templates with the abilities available in those trees.

In the end though, if you really think that a Jedi mass exodus would kill this game - well, there's only one way to truly find out... and you and I both know that's not going to happen aytime soon, so in the end, it doesn't matter who outnumbers who now, does it?

I pray, on my knees, for the day that Jedi are removed from the game, or that you all spontaneously quit. I will /cheer in the Plaza de Theed. Wooohoooo we are rid of these selfish, egotistical power gamers.
