howdy Bounty hunters, a few ideas/questions on killing the ol' force sensitives:

What about MBH plus some Commando and Combat medic for crazy DoT (probably not enough punch behind this to waste jedi tho)
also, what about Doc or the defensive bonus TKA branches? wouldn't that be good to avoid jedi sabers? Although if MRifles i guess you could just stay the hell away. just some thoughts, i'm a rookie BH go easy (Didn't respec!)

Something Hartigan said made me think of a question. He said he is not a respec BH, so what is wrong with respec BH's? I hear people flaming respec this and respec that but I know a few respec toons that do much better than non respec's in the same professions. I am just tired of hearing everyone flaming people for taking advantage of something that SOE put out as a tool to change your professions around to suit your play style with new CU.

What would be the best weapon to use with the mbh/mcm/xxx4 pistols temp? Right nowI have a Fetherweight FWG5 with about 371.86 modded dps. I also have the Alliance Disrupter pistol sinceI'm mcm, but it does about the same damage, speed, and dps as the FWG5. I also looked at all the scatter pistols, but they weren't too great. Any other good weapons out there?

currently grinding mbh/4000doc/0404CM DOT's, great heals, defensive stats and a couple uber weapons from my slicing days. put this on top of some 6k resist armor and i don't have much to worry about. haven't gone out soloing krayts or anything but i am almost done with it. i'll see how it looks when i am done. i am pretty sure i will have a couple SP left over. gimmie a week to finish it.

ps i am actually grinding investigation :-P

Hey USN jedi, when i said that i was just trying to avoid flames and such the respec BH often gets, didn't mean trespec BH are bad. someone else on this forum (Sorry don't remember who) gave a good way to think about the recent influx of hunters: Think of it like the wild west, where every hothead with a gun could go out and hunt bandits and whatnot. i'm not calling Respec guys hotheads or anything, just sayuin the allure of BH is b/c it's so freakin cool. sorry that was a little longwinded. i don't know if i really said anything important there so i'm just gonna stop typing now.

Hartigan,

I was not intending to single you out or anything, in fact you were not flaming at all. What you said just reminded me of the fact that alot of people flame "respec" BH's, etc.

dude i was thinking of doing a similar temp to get the CM healing and DoT stuff, but i like rifles over pistols, was also considering commando, but the BH light lightning cannon is good enough i think for elemental damage.

I am going MBH|MCM|Carbineer x4xx OR MBH|MC|Combat medic xxx4.

What would you long time BHs choose if faced with the two options?

MBH/MCM is all well and good. But i suggest you use rifle 4xxx instead of carbines. Rifle adds an extra 15m to your range, which is veru useful. Your choice entirely, though.

MBH/MCM has been proven to work very nicely against jedi.

I forgot to add, that getting Rifleman allows you to wear Recon armor, which has the hihgest energy resist.

hey was just wondering what you guys thought was the all around best/most effective attack for a BH between pistoleer, carbineer, and rifleman. I am probably going for master CM, so was wondering whether to use pistol for stoping shot or rifles for the sniper tree. thanks for your advice.
