I haven't played in a bit but I went with an all melee template. I had alot of fun with it.


Master Pikeman

Master TKM

Fencer 3400

Master Brawler

Medic


I changed it to a BH template but its not as much fun as the melee.


This is what I want to do:


Master Pikeman

TK 4400

Fencer 4400

Master Brawler

Medic

Combat Prowess 0044

Enhanced Reflexes 4440

Heightened Senses 0004


Any feedback on this would be appreciated. I dont know how this is going to pan out after the CU but this is where I wanted to go with my character.

After almost two years in the game i can fully say that the template i have now is the strongest one ive ever used.

4400 fencer
3040 doc
master pikeman

note this is *not* a group pvp template. Its ment for 1 on 1 or 1(you) against sevral. it has very little to offer to a group, but can take out several people at once.

ive been a pikeman for a long time but ive only had this particular template for about 2 months, and i have yet to lose a duel. probably 250+ duels. And it isnt like i use spectacular pikes, just a couple decent dots will do.

Hi there guys and girls. I'm a complete newbie to the pikeman profession, in fact I just got novice pikeman this morning for the first time in my entire Star Wars Galaxies life. I've thought out the following template and was wondering if any of you more seasoned pikemen / pikewomen would take a look at it for me.


4.4.0.4 Brawler (Base)

4.4.0.0 Medic (Healing)

4.0.0.0 Scout (Terrain Negotiation)

0.4.4.0 Fencer (Defences)

4.0.0.0 Teras Kasi (Meditate)

0.0.0.4 Combat Prowess (Melee Speed)

Master Pikeman (Main Offense/Defense)


As I'm looking for a decent PvE template to take into places like the Corvette and Death Watch Bunker, but not for soloing ancient krayts or anything like that, I thought this template might serve me well. It uses 100% of all skill points andwould give methe following skill mods:


+150 Polearm Accuracy

+87 Polearm Speed (with FS speed)


+115 Block

+90 Dodge

+47 Defence vs. Melée

+40 Defence vs. Ranged

+80 Defence vs. Dizzy

+70 Defence vs. Knockdown

+80 Defence vs. Posture Change


Any comments, constructive criticism, or helpful suggestions are welcome.

Hi guys.. yea i know.. everyone wants to ask about templates.. but i am at a buisness conference at the mo so i cant play or read much...


I was TKM Master Smuggler 1/0/4/0 Medic


I was thinking about TKM/Master sword.. i thought as TKM is a 3/5/1 and a master sword is a 5/3/1 so they 'should' directly stack together.. good offence and defence???

i have read other posts about tkm, master doc with 0/0/04 sword... is that any good...

or what about tkm/master pike for intimidate and area atacks..


also with stacking.. if i am using tkm weapons.. i can use other melee specials.. right.. and still use the inate armour..


I am a PvE player.. intending on finishing my FS grind... so i am looking for a good template that i can solo stuff and group together.. i have never been that bothered about killing Uber things..


I am totally open to all advice from people that have played other templates, even those that don't include TKM...

Well, you don't need Medic anymore for healing, so my template is (after some testing)...

Swordsman 0/0/4/4
Plus some FS skills...


With TKA Innate Armor and Improved CoB and Swordsman Advanced Armor Break, this is very powerful Tank. If only the would fix the agro problem....

Master brawler / master polearm / master TKA is a common template now for those focused on melee....the rest of the points seem to be split up on what goes where (swordsman is high on the list of what people pick).
