Calling for nerfs... looks like you're just picking a fight. Why don't you go cry on the pistoleer board and complain that root sucks and it should be nerfed. it isn't a BH special.

also i 100% agree any bher should have an equal chance of soloing any jedi that is not in the FRS. Once the FRS is put back in we'll see jedi as the alpha class they are supposed to be, but the dev's will be able to organically control how many of these alpha class player's there are and make it so that almost no one can hold that power for a long time.

That is exactly whatsshould happen, a delay like the old k/d timer. I'm not calling on the skill being removed or having it break on damage. A certain amount of time before the same mob/player can be rooted/snared again will balance the skill nicely. This fixes just about everything although all the Rifleman/pistoleer/smuggler templates I see soloing DJK might be upset.


I never said a BH should not be able to solo a Jedi, I said it was funny how some people cry that people ask for nerfs on skills they are usingyet the very same people were just asking for another profession to get hit with the nerf bat. Trust me, after this patch if you can't kill most Jedi the problem is with your PvP skills. As you said, the FRS should change that but it remains to be seen if or when the FRS will be back. I wouldn't be surprised to find they put it on hold until next year. The game still needs a lot of fixes from the broken CURB, I just don't see the devs making Jedi stronger a priority in fixes. That may actually be a good thing, people can forget about Jedi and start looking at how broken the game actually is lol.

I'm sorry but you have just lost all credibility with that statement. From what I see, the only Jedi"nerf", if you want to call it that, is in the healing, and as you know even the majority of Jedi agree it is currently overpowered. Jedi offensive abilities have been given, quite rightly, some deserved love. If your idea of PvP is indefinately spamming 1500 heals then to quote your own words "the problem is with your PvP skills".

You don't have to nerf Jedi directly to call it a nerf on the profession. Giving your enemy the only advantage you had in the current combat system is enough of a nerf by itself. Devs nerfing our healing just may put it over the top where you should never lose, specially since you are RANGED and have FIRST strike. We will have to wait and see but again, you not looking at the big picture. It's not what Jedi loses, it's what everyone has gained that will has ultimately brought us down to a regular power level.

Imagine this, a BH stalks his prey, he has him in his sights, he offloads a stopping shot..........


and hits for a couple hundred damage.







How is this the fight over in your 'one shot finishing move'?


Did the Jedi fall over his robe and break his neck?

Did fireballs come from the sky and consume the Jedi?

Did a freaky display of ace piloting in a T-16 miss a nearby womprat and kill the Jedi?


How did this Jedi die?.. it remains a mystery to me.

Did I miss the bit in Tiggs post about Novice Fencers getting 1500 heals every 3 seconds?


Could I very politely request that you read the release notes by Tiggsin the "In Testing" forum before trolling the BH forum and, quite frankly, showing your @$$ in here.


The only professions to get a boost in healing skill are Docs and Combat medics, and this is to reverse thebig nerf they got in the CU. Are you saying that Master Docs and Master Combat Medics should NOT be able to heal as efficiently as a Jedi youngling?

I dont see why people find root so overpowered. It hits for like, 100 damage, and the timer is really nasty.

JEDI does not get HEALING automatically,they must choose it as a part oftheir template.


Non-Jedi do not get HEALING automatically, they must choose it as a part of their template


Jedi choose 4xxx Healer, non-Jedi choose 4xxx CM or whatever in Doc. Both from the looks of it will be EQUAL or in favor of non-Jedi. Don't sit here and whine that OMG I have to choose healing when you can still have a double mastery ANYWAYS. The day that Jedi get 4xxx Healer as part of initiate is the day you can say "oh look at poor little me, I must sacrafice and pick up 4xxx CM with MBH/MR (or whatever combo you want)

It is not a nerf on anyone to give a Master Doc the same healing ability as a Jedi Padawan,and it takes a hell of a lot more SPs to get master doc than it does to get healing 4xxx. ATM, even with enhancers, MDocs heals are way behind a Padis. That is wrong and it is being fixed - no nerf there.

Maybe you should actually read how well the heals are before you say how uninformed I am lol. First thing I'm talking about CM 4xxx and you are talking about Mastering the entire profession. Where did I state you have to Master the entire profession? Where does it state in the patch notes to get the enhancements to healing you have to Master the profession?


but I'll say this, saying MDocs heals are way behind a Paddies with Patch19.....lol.....good one!

I was a MD before CU, I know exactly how much that profession got nerfed. Getting it fixed is not a nerf on you. The patch19 post doesnt say how much heals for docs and cms will be improved or how long the cooldown will be for Jedi heals.


Why do think that because another profession has been fixed that you have been nerfed? If that is the case then by your logic every other profession in the game has been nerfed because sabres and powers got some love.


If you read the terms and conditions on the eBay site you will see that you can lodge a claim if the item you bought is significantly different to the auction description. If the auction said you get an "I win" button you may be entitled to your money back.
