This has happened to me 3 straight times now and I am wondering what the point of it is. I am sure there is a reason for it but I can't figure it out. I get a mission, track the Jedi and find him inside a building. I can't get into the building so I act like I am using a terminal of some kind. I would stand there for 15 mins, sometimes more and he wouldn't move an inch. I could target one and he wasn't even buffed. Just standing there. Finally I dropped the mission to get another one and had the same thing happen. Oh well, grab another one and same thing! So now I might just keep this mission and wait it out. However, is there a reason for Jedi going AFK in a locked structure? Sure he is safe but why even be ingame and take that risk?
Because they are AFK maybe?.... I dont know for sure like... but its fairly safe to assume that if they are in there they might actually be AFK....
Seems like the logical answer to me. Hmm I have two choices stay outside AFK or stay safe inside AFK.
That wasn't my question if you atcually read the thread. I made it quite obvious with the title that I KNOW they are AFK in a structure. My reason for posting this was because I thought that by having BH drop missions constantly or by being ingame constantly maybe they would be removed from the terminals or somehow get reduced visibiliity. Again, like I already stated in this thread if you had read it, I wasn't sure how visibility worked.

Jedi go afk as much as any other profession, you just don't hunt other professions and find them sitting afk like you do jedi. If you hunted other professions, you'd find them just as often sitting afk because of whatever reason. The only difference is, jedi go inside a private structure when they go afk for safety. They'd be stupid not to. Other professions don't need safety when they go afk other than normal aggro NPC's they might be near. It's so funny how people think jedi go through all this trouble to piss of bounty hunters but get real, bh's aren't worth that kind of effort.

Hmmm maybe crafting a saber if its in a player city. I know I had to spend 3+ hours a few weeks ago to get a few sabers the way that I wanted them. Takes along time for that exp drink to un-fill my tummy.

He ran at first and then I used the root, his mistake was he ran to the hills and i had force run on. After the fight I recieved a tell from him said he thouht I was afk, I told him at first I was lol. He saidnice fight then came out of the clone and bowed. I was impressed with his level of Honor most BH I fouht where very rude I have only been killed once and even he was rude.

I was afk in my house this morning makeing breakfast. ![]()
If it didn't take so damn long to load this game in I would of logged out. And even then if ya log out to the loggin screen after 10 minutes you still have to exit the game and reload from start so why bother. Afk in house. Eat breakfast come back and play where ya left off.

lol, oh no! The truth!
I always thought they were afk because they were visiting the little jedi's room, or doing soemthign in rl for a couple hours. Once I sent a tell to one of my marks in the middle of the night and I got an afk message saying he was at the gym for a few hours. I decided not to wait for him.
BTW, a good way for jedi to not get people to hunt them (before they abolished names on the terms) was to sit afk in a house for a month. The bh's would go to your house and waste their tiem and get pissed. Next tiem they see your name on the terms they'd ignore you, figuring you were still afk in a house and it'd just be a waste of their time.
