Yes, but you're a moron. /shrug

I had a TEF on him. There is nothing wrong/expoitive about using a TEF.

Might be a moron, but I'm smart enough to see through you.

You KNEW that the TEF should be gone. You KNEW you failed your mission. And then you intentionally attacked him.

If I'm a moron and was smart enough to catch your deception, doesn't make you very smart now does it?

Well as a new BH I just thought that a revenge TEF went on the Jedi for a limited time.

Sure. A revenge TEF on someone YOU picked a fight with makes perfect sense, especially since there is nowhere else in the game that such a TEF exists.

Then how did I attack him? I didn't challenge him to a duel.

It's called a bug. You knew you should have lost the TEF. You got a nice "mission failed" message telling you that you....wait for it....failed the mission. If the mission wasn't over it would have been impossible for it to be failed. You know you can't just attack any ole Jedi without having a mission on them. The mission failed. That means the mission is over.

Don't try to play dumb. You willingly and knowingly exploited the system.

it is not "ok" for anyone to exploit/cheat the system, but from the looks of things, this may have very well been his first hunt since he clearly stated he respec into BH.
and if that is indeed the case, then he may have thought that a TEF after being killed was a normal thing.

any time i hunt a jedi that doesnt know he is using an exploit like attacking me back and running into a house to regen force, i let them know that its an exploit and if they really care about not cheating the game they wont use it anymore. I don't just start saying to the guy that he's an exploiter and he should be banned ect...

the original poster said that "Well now I know. Sorry if I offended anyone with my use of a TEF" only an idiot would think cheating is ok only if a BH does it, to the guy you're replying to here. he may not really realize whats going on here either.

Exactly what happened...but the dude playing the role of the Sheriff on this thread only sees things in absolutes, it seems. You are right, though. It was my 2nd bounty target.

And no, I didn't get money or credit for the kill...just a PvP kill.

Well, I didn't knowingly exploit anything. However, I'm the only one that can really know that.

You got a failed mission message. How could you honestly expect that it was still ok?

There is no such thing as a revenge TEF anywhere in the game. Nice try.

The mission is over upon success or failure. That's what failure and success means. It's over and you achieved one of two missions.

You cannot attack a non-SF/non-Duel Jedi without a mission on them.

You know these things. You knew you shouldn't have been able to attack. You admit as much in your original post.

Well now I know. Sorry if I offended anyone with my use of a TEF.

But that last ditch is sweet, huh?

I haven't decided yet whether the guy you killed was a dumb Jedi or a dumb BH.

On the point of you using the exploit to aggro the dude, that was just wrong, but not any more so then the tactic of hiding in the blindspot by the webweavers.

Using the wookies was a legit tactic, it cuts both ways.

Wow,

Apparently Leatherneck plays with a black and white striped shirt on, or at least trolls the forums as our moral guide.

Ignore him, great story, thanks for sharing.

The moron deserved it when he "blew in your ear", if he had just DB'd you and walked away, he wouldn't have paid the price.

Question: Did you get a bounty off the kill (even though the mission was over?), or was it just a PvP kill?

Thanks again, and ignore Leatherbrain, let him go referee another thread.

I might be mistaken but I'm pretty sure that training mobs is a no-no.
