Quite an experience here.

After FINALLY finding a target that was online, (What is up with HARDLY ANY targets online these days?) I finally found one online but, as you may have guessed, on Kashyyyk.

Normally I would have dropped the mission and went for one I could track, but I was so excited to find one online I went for it. No idea where to start on Kashyyyk, I went for the Ryatt Trail. Went into the first instance, down to the Webweaver path, and how lucky was I? There he was with the group killing the feral wookies. I couldn't believe the luck!

He was a Jedi Initiate/Master Bounty Hunter. So I put the rest of my armor on, get my advanced laser rifle, eat/drink/take spice, and go after him from about 40m away. He has no idea what is happening until his health gets about halfway down, so he starts to run. His friends all say, "run for the blind spot" (a line-of-sight bug where you can't attack or be attacked). But I root him. Well, he now pulls out a scatter pistol and I guess decides he's gonna give me a fight. We fight for a long time, equally damaging each other. It wasa good fight.

Then his friends decide to all start dragging the aggro feral wookies on me, which start attacking me, so shortly after that, I'm down. The Jedi that I was after delivers the deathblow, and all his friends cheer.

I didn't say anything. I didn't send /tells to him saying how lame it was that he had to have his friends drag the feral wookies on me in order to get me down. Ijust left and went back to Kaadara.

Well I'm standing there at the terminals and guess who walks up? The Jedi/MBH that I was after. But since I had already failed the mission, I figured it was over. But I could still attack him. So again, I ate/drank/took spice and went about 50m out and started rooting him and laying down critical shot/underhanded shot, all the good stuff. He comes at me with a scatter pistol. The fight goes on for a long time in the streets of Kaadara. He's getting the best of me. Finally, I'm down. But I'm barely down...only 10 seconds on the incap timer.

So he decides while I'm laying there, to "blow in my ear" instead of deathblowing me. I spring up, with little health and action, and use LAST DITCH, the greatest special ever. I hit for over 3000 points of damage and he is out cold. I then delivered the death blow. Maybe the cloner would like it's ear blown into. What a blast. BH/Smuggler is the best.

This is a great story. I like the one about using the aggro'ing wookies. Now that's tactics which make the difference. Should make the difference between winning and losing!

I have no idea what he was thinking. We both had the upper hand at different parts of the fight. He was a much faster healer than me (may have been close to Master Healer as a Jedi)but thats it. Either way, he lost because of his showboating....and I guess he lost a lot of XP as well.

Wait, you intentionally attacked and killed the guy when you knew it should have been over? Yes, his friends encouraging him to go to the dead spot was very wrong. Yes, his friends training you was wrong and clearly against the EULA. But you are no better by exploiting a bug yourself.

He shouldn't have lost XP if you didn't have the mission ... but there's no way to tell without asking, and if he DID lose the XP and you didn't have his mission, it would make sense for him to raise a stink about it.

haha it wasn't a bug...just a TEF. I figured it was normal for a BH to have a TEF on a Jedi after the fight. I don't know these things, though...as I am a respec BH.

First you said because you lost you figured it was over. Now you're claiming you didn't know any better. You're just as lame as that Jedi's friends.

I had a TEF on him. There is nothing wrong/expoitive about using a TEF.
