Lets give them a nerf crying board
I am really getting sick of your crying fish
why dont you go whine on your own board and get pistoleer fixed
instead of trying to ruin TKA
This is why they should delete nerf posts cause this guy is just getting annoying

Nonesense.. You say we have control, control of what ? If we did have control of this type of post and the negative unconstructive feedback from people.. It wouldnt be here. I think you totally missed my point here, im sorry. Feedback is good, providing it is usefull. The problem with this so called NERF 'feedback' is that it is NOT usefull, you have already made your points and if there is a nerf coming, then its coming.. So.. Why not just let it go..
---I think removing posts is a lame way of dealing with discontent and I suspect you underestimate the intelligence of contributors to this forum. Anybody who has ever played a TK knows the drawbacks to the profession and can post reasoned responses to these negative posts. I have, in fact, seen some very compelling posts by TKs, which have destroyed the argument before it even started. We still retain that ability providing we don't hide our head in the sand and start deleting threads. Every dictatorship in the world has taken that course of action, whilst every democracy has implemented free speech. Even though it is painful at times, it is still the best route.

It is the best route if you like the posts which I am talking about, and for your own sake and my sanity I hope you don't like these posts.. One line NERF posts, or posts basically provoking the TKA profession into responding with thier own negative feedback and turning a thread from a discussion into ANOTHER game of posting ping pong is NOT productive.. Freedom of speach is an excellent concept, but the fact is I don't want to read posts that keep talking about the same thing over and over and over when I should be reading about my profession.. People have already posted alternative solutions to this issue which you didn't quite nail on the head either, a single NERF thread in a profession or a single NERF board allows for freedom of speach without taking one board off topic..
NERF is off topic. I don't need to know about how and why TKA should be nerfed , its not usefull to my progression as a TKA to a TKM. How do I benefit from knowing that my character needs to be toned down when I am still learning about its uses.. I don't plain and simple.
The ranger board I also go on, has nothing about NERF and that is a dream to read, and if I do post it is always to ask a question... On the TKA forum I always have an opinion, and an opinion on one thing.. The fact it SUCKS to read this board, and it is making me turn grey.
Seriously, defend freedom of speach, defened your right to speak out on here, but DO NOT defend the lame NERF screamers when they pollute something which is supposed to be productive with nothing more than one liners about how "its coming" and "you are overpowered". The CONSTRUCTIVE comments about the profession are not even being questioned here, what I and a believe alot of other people are quesioning is the right to have a professional board that is not DOMINATED by NERF!
If you do a search through my other posts, I do NOT underestimate the people on these boards.. Everyone has something to say, it just depends on a few vital factors, is it constructive, has it been said before many times, does it provoke negative feedback? And what i am talking about does...

Seriously, your were way off with that one.. Not my point at all..
Deleteing items which are of no use is natural, look at SWG.. Do you think I have a house full or chum bait and onions...
Get rid of the trash and keep the content, if this was my board those would have been the forum rules and there would have been a board for people who wanted to discuss the negative aspects of a profession.. And even a kids forum..
The people that have posted that this is something worth fighting for are more correct than some people will ever know, a professional board needs information about the profession.. Not to be a flamers forum.
The people that have decided to include their own NERF cries in my thread, congrats.. You proved my point - Grin - You cant leave one post alone, this WAS NOT a discussion about the negative aspects of the TKA profession but about the fact that your NERF feedback is NOT constructive.. You are OFF TOPIC HERE! We know you think it needs to be nerfed, and you had your say..
I have to agree, if I was running this board I'd delete or move to some sight unseen area of the forums every nerf thread on the forums. Unless it was at least constructively laid out.
Cakins and Totem posts for example would be auto-deleted ![]()
Even if it wasn't a nerf thread lol.

Well, saying 'nonsense' just tells me you disagree in an opinionated way - unless you are an expert of course, which isn't endorsed by your title of 'Novice TKA'. Let's just take it you disagree and I will explain.
The NERF callers usually call for a nerf on some ridiculous pretext, which is largely inaccurate. In this forum, the seasoned players just take away all their arguments and show them up for the idiots they are. No fuss, no pain...and it strengthens the TKA position in the reader's minds. If they are excluded from this forum, they have 30+ other fora to post their ill-conceived views on the uberness of TKs. They may well post in a forum where they get positive attention, because those members also want TKs to be nerfed. Disinterested readers also start to form an opinion and, as all they see is negative posts, they tend to take that view.
As seasoned TKs probably don't visit those fora, this nonsense goes unchallenged. Pretty soon, the nonsense becomes 'fact' and everybody and their dog is screaming 'nerf TKs'. Right or wrong, the Devs will bow to the majority vote EVEN IF it is inaccurate. They have to, it's a business and it's the majority who pay the biggest slice of income. If you don't believe me, look at all the compromises they have had to make to their original 'vision' of the game, e.g. Nerfing AT STs, Nerfing CH, in fact nerfing everything that caused a public (majority) outcry.
I'm entirely on the same page as you regarding one-liner posts. These are just Trolls and are best dealt with by following Jherad's <sp> advice.
I think this forum is great and to see Master TKs actually explain in detail how easy it is to take down a TK with the correct strategy; and to see the problems TKs have in PvPvs 80% Kinetic Resist opponents, makes me proud of the profession. What other combat profession would give a detailed walkthrough of how to kick their own ass? Personally, I would PAY these idiots to come in here and spout their BS. Theyprovide the opportunity for our profession to shine.
speaking of which where has our "buddy" caskins been lately
I kinda miss his posts they were quite entertaining
You're treading a dangerous road, if you cut out criticism, no matter how it is expressed.
