Brain surgery? Far from it. Lighten up.

This has been quite entertaining, as expected. look at the post title - it's that, and nothing more. Take it or leave it, it's worth the same as YOUR opinion: nothing, in American dollars.

I'll check this again on Friday. Gonna be outta town til then. Have at it kids! If it makes you feel more significant to try to make me look less significant... I pity you.

By refering to anyone that disagrees with you as kids is infact more childish.

There are currently two tamable creatures that are unbalanced due to an abnormally high armor rating. The Gurreck & Giant Sand Beetle are going to have their armor changed from Medium to Light.

We're going to have to go through the armor ratings for all creatures, particularly tamable ones, in the near future, to catch any other glitches like this one.

He calls me a kid when I am 33 years old? Well, let's hope I stay a kid always then = )

Game or not, experience counts. Would you say golf or any other sport is different in this case? No difference. You can either be experienced at it and talk about your experience, or spout, it's your choice = )

JEESES This guys post was dead on 100% accurate and you people still don't get it!

Zam, address the facts, stop pussying around with BS about his post count. Oh, sorry you can't. Never mind.

Xen, sorry that class doesn't exist. Its not the way the game was meant to be! CH the way it is not is NOT th e way CHs was meant to be! Its a BUG!

The CH class you want needs to bea class that dedicates twice as many skill points and needs to probably have Master CH as an entry point! Maybe an advanced Creature Handler, or Creature God, or something like that.

CH isn't it. There soo will be no class that is what you're looking for. Like I said, maybe they should add a Master CH class, but that would be a class that couldn't spend points anywhere but in creature handling.

Atom, if they like it or not, you're 100% on the mark. Sad to see so many people are going to be so sad in a few weeks, but I know, the class will be better once it gets trimmed back to reality and all the posers move on to the next nerf candidate.

Nothing changes the fact that a CH does absolutely nothing except combat. Pets grant stat bonuses to others, nor do they perform any other support roles. They tank, do damage and kill. That's the definition of combat, and only combat. They do nothing but combat.

Zamtok don't waste your breath. He obviously does not grasp what you are trying to say. Be it lack of education or just not wanting to read correctly. Or perhaps English is not his first lang. Well my point is look at his hardly brain surgery comment. He did not understand you where using it as a example and not telling him the game is just as hard as brain surgery.

Yea, still waiting for all these people who say CH are not a combat class to tell me what a pet does beside kill. If want to RP with a pet only and not be a combat class then should not CH cost alot less skill points. Because no matter what you look at in this game skill points is one thing that you can not get more of. Sure you can get some back, but lose skills also. So power should not be determined by xp you use nor time. It will all boil down to 250 in a non-artisan/Ent skill tree should = 250 spent in same.

Zal,

I addresssed the facts. The problem is none of you will gain experience of real gaming with a CH against other classes in both PVP and PVM. You simply still claim we are all powerful, when you have not done the tests yourself. You have no basis nor facts about your claims. Instead you simply say that we are too powerful without knowing what we are powerful IN COMPARISON TO.

You must have a baseline in which to judge the power of our class against others. If you did, then you would know that we are NOT as powerful as you think.

So do this for me please. Get to master CH, See how other classes i the game play with some amount of mastery against players and creatures. If you do these things then you will know that not only are we not as powerful as you think, but at mastery we are absolutely weaklings compared to other classes, REALLY.

Please, if you more knowledge, then state it. But please dont repeat your same old argument which has no basis in fact.

Zal,

Also please refer to my post titled:

"Some real world examples of Master CH power"

Hopefully you will see some reality. And if oyu dont believe what is stated in that post, please make a new character on Naritus server and I will show you firsthand the reality of it. Against both PVP and PVM, we are not even close to being as powerful as other combat/semi-combat classes.

"Lol, look at the number of posts on his name. I'd really like to know how long this guy has been playing, and playing MMORPG's in general."

hey Zam, how long have I played?

I would be willing to bet longer then you! # of posts means NOTHING! I read theboards everyday, and not just this one, I seldom post, so what, I post when I want to rant, or when I see something flat wrong or when someone needs help.A post now and then trading something.

get over yourself, yourLITTLE 160+ posts means NOTHING except you post here more then you should with crap like the post I am replying to.

Move along, nothing else to see here

I've been playing PC games since 1984. I have played EQ since beta, over 8 hours a day for over four years. I've played AC2 since beta and DOAC just after beta. In other words, I have no life outside PC gaming, and put enough time in to be able to claim some amount (over 10+ years) worth of first hand experience with inception, debugging and progression of MMORPG's.

Sorry to sound like an ass, but I really think some of my personal experience counts more than your average (been playing this game a couple months, and played ac2 for a week) type of person.

There is a great deal to learn about these games, how they are produced and debugged, how they lookat balance between classes in the game, how the classes support each other and group together. All of these things have to be taken into account. You simply cannnot claim a certain class as being overpowered without specific proof, no oonly in actual personal play, but also across many other players.

I was writing basic code for games ona pet personal computer before you were ten, SO! I play/played AC1, AC2,DAOC,E and B (beta tested it).

the rest of your post did nothing to answer my main question. Fact is I lived on a computer most of my life too (sad fact), but did you know this? I have less then 20 posts, in your earlier post your would assume I know nothing, this is what I called into question.

This is the last word from me on this (pet peeve). DON'T assume you know everything, there is ALWAYS someone that knows more. A post count means nothing!!
