Yes, the Jedi would gain visibility. But following around other players with the sole purpose of hindering their gameplay will gain you a ban if the harassment report gets read by a CSR in a bad mood.

It's not my fault if I decide to drop a house 32m from where a Jedi happens to be grinding...I would never want to hinder another players gaming experience....So I'm supposed to run the other way when I see Jedi in the field?

Yes..currently, following a Jedi around to give them vis is considered harrassment. CSRs willjudge if you are just innocently placing a house or not.
