I hear that the powers that be are giving Jedi a pass on group visiabiltiy...so does this mean whengrouped together, they can run around Theed shaking their Glow-sticks andscreaming at each otherand not end up on the terms...If so I must say that sux.

thats what i understand this... that just tells jedi, here is a FREE EXPLOIT to protect you..SO TAKE IT while we LOOK AWAY

then you misunderstand completely. Unless of course Theed is stripped of all NPCs and only 8 Jedi are in theed with no one else. then in which case why would you care...

Hmm...
So when Jedi grind together, who are they grinding on...NPCs right ????....So that would mean visiability would it not???

So that also means I can go to the MOP andfollow a group of Jedi to a grinding spotget within 32m of them as they use their powersand they gain VIZ...Right

Exactly.
Sure, the other 7 people in the Jedi's group won't generate visibility - but the other 100+ NPC's and players in Theed would generate vast amounts of visibility.
All this does is protect Jedi who are grinding in a group for xp, because quite frankly, SWG is now a group-driven game, and the Devs couldn't come up with any other way to resolve the fact that to get Jedi, most players already have mastered combat professions...so in order to ever level in Jedi, you either had to scrap any other defense/offense you had, or get in a group and get xp by just getting a hit in with your saber.
It really just makes sense, I mean...why would anyone you're grouped with report you. I would have preferred there to be "same faction" requirements, but eh...this isfinally a solution toa problem the Devs put in the game with the CU.

Yes, the Jedi would gain visibility if you were within 32m of them while using their Jedi stuff, so long as you weren't in their group.

visibility has always been generated by NPCs. Group grinding on creature mobs will not raise visibility with the new patch. the only differnece is the group itself willnot be generating vis for each other.

yes it does. pretty lame behavior though. oh and its not a new idea by far... people have been doing that since visibility was implemented.
