My Jedi Friends basically look at you name in the tells (Like Come out of the house etc) Then type /Target Name

You'll show up even under cover.

Yes I like this suggestion, would all Jedi please adopt this if you suspectI am /cover outside ur house. To make it work you just have to step out of your house and do /tar camelz

then you ran up against jedi that didnt know the /target (bh name) thing i use it and can find the cover'd bh's easily plus if i am in a house and i log out to go do other things for awhile i never leave till a friend of mine comes out there and scouts the area

as for the scarecrow trick while playing my jedi i would always step out long enough to see which blue dots are shooting at me once i realized the one just sitting there isnt shooting id pack up and leave

Ok. In my experience, and although it isnt much it is enough to know this, 9 times out of 10, then paddie is in his house when I get there. I never send tells to my mark until after the fight, if there is one... and finally, it would be many more than just one. I have done this many many times.

But, I dont hunt less than 180k jedi anymore, and they dont typically run. Usually, I find my prey showing off in Theed, or Mos Eisley, or Coronet beating up on little NPC's. This is so much more fun than padawans.

My personal choice would be to place a house right infront of their house. Say Hi neighbor! and go inside.

Now there are a couple of things that will result from that:

1- He has a choice...stay there until his mission expires or redeed his house which will leave him naked in the field.

2- By placing your house as close as possible and directly infront he cannot run back directly into the house. You are adding an obstacle and possibly gaining a second or two.

3- This is not griefing it's tactics. If it's legal for a Jedi to place a house and wait for the danger to go away. It's ok for the BH to place a house a wait for his prey. Granted placing a house is not the most sublte form of stalking a prey but I like to comfy when I stalk. Watch TV, eat some popcorn and sitting outside in rain and sandstorms really sucks.

I had 3 other biddies with me, all of are MBH but only 2 of us had this Jedis mission, we would rotate, and there were multiple Jedi in the safehouse and they had no clue who had their mission.

One even tried toask me "Which Jedi are you after?" I said "All of them"

The mark finally got tired of sitting and bolted for the starport, my buds kept the ruse up in front of his safe house, made him think we thought he was in there still, instead caught him in the starport with his pants down.

Laney_1UK Says:

1) yeah i can only do one mission but i'll just drop it. If he's not coming out who cares if i don't kill him lol but he isn't grinding lmao

2) if he logs he still ain't grinding. When logs backthe afk'er isstill there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, let me state that I am a Bounty Hunter.

That said Laney, I gotta wonder where your head is? You're not alone. I see a lot of BH who think preventing a Jedi from grinding is a minor victory of sorts. But I don't see it that way. Victory comes if I kill the Jedi and collect the bounty. I have no desire to prevent a player from playing his game. In fact, that kind of mentality borders on griefing.

We have a rough road, and Jedi are our quarry. But let's not forget there's a player behind that character who's just trying to play his game too. We're the hunter, he's the prey. Expect them to act like prey. In the wilds, a Tiger may stalk several potential meals each week. He loses more than he wins, but that just makes the victory (and for the tiger, the meal) that much sweeter.

/agree

I also think that camping outside someone's house for hours and hours can border on griefing. If my mark is in a house or cantina I move onto the next mission. I don't want to waste my time with it.

As for the tactic of using /cover to ambush a jedi, /tar defeats any chance of surprise you may have had. Once a BH is made, you lose a significant advantage...surprise. To me that is the most important factor in taking down high level jedi. If they know you are coming then the odds are no longer in your favor.

Oh, and the /duel, /enduel will let them know who you are there for pretty darn quick if you try to just walk up to them in the middle of nowhere.

according to csradamb in livechat about 2 weeks ago housecamping a jed for longer then 15 to 20 minutes is considered harrasment and against the eula ...it can be reported and you can receive warnings and possible ban on your account

me and a friend both asked in chat one night and both got the same answer

mbh/mcm on one account

jedi paddy on another account

lol thats kinda lame, I waited in a house for an hr with my padi, ya know what, who cares. I'm a jedi, jedi's are hunted. I knew that when I made one and now I'm not gonna cry about it except to send a tell saying, Why you picking on a 75k padi? This harrasment stuff is a joke.

Now I'm M.rifles and I love when BH come after me 1 on 1, I likeit so much I'm even thinking about spec'ing jedi/bh(see my post) I just need to know how this temp does against knights if it works I'll happily be hunted by BH and hunt jedi's also.

Its not very difficult. If two dots show up and one leaves, I'd check who left and who stayed. I'd also take notice of how far the one who left went before they dropped off the radar.

That will work too, but usually, you cant examine if your LD. I will be there when they log off, and 'gone' when they come back. And since cover takes you off the radar, and hides you from view. They will walk outside and see nothing outside, and nothing on the radar. I have done this so many times. Even when they know about it, or think about it in advance, they just have to take a chance.

Your plan sounds greatunless of course the Jediknows to /target Callale. I have not tested it with cover yet but I know player's who use cloak can be /targeted.

Well i see it as if i'm stopping jedi grinding, imps as i dont' hunt rebels (my preference) i'm stopping the other side leveling. Also if he is in the house he ain't on kash having a free ride like no other jedi did before. You see 99% of non full template jedi are on kash (thats a fact) i was there for 4 hours last night and couldn't find one jedi in the 150-200k range that wasn't on my server. This is a major problem, so i take what i can get when i can get it. If this means keeping jedi in their houses so be it.
