Simple just bring a friend, doesn't have to be a bh, and wait till he runs in house. Make sure the friend you bring is going to go afk for an hour or two anyways and leave him outside his house while you go get other missions. The jedi will not leave (usually the wont) and you can go about your business while your friend (scarecrow) is keeping him inside the house.

Your plan seems very well-thought and it seems like it's the best ever, however there's a few flaws.

  • You only get to do one mission with your character.

  • CaveJedi usually logs out and use their alt pretty soon after they've hid. Then they log in during non-primetime and shuttle to Kashyyk to go safegrind.

  • Your friend, scarecrow will hardly scarea lot ofJedi if any.

A paddie will usually log off and on. when they log, I usually take cover and wait for them. they will log back in eventually, see nothing, walk out, pack up the house. Then BAM! No more house, and paddie for lunch.

address points in order made

1) yeah i can only do one mission but i'll just drop it. If he's not coming out who cares if i don't kill him lol but he isn't grinding lmao

2) if he logs he still ain't grinding. When logs backthe afk'er isstill there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3) keep a macro going so he not afk an he'll scare quick enough. Most wont even chance coming out of house.

I prefer this tactic, it works, you dont need a friend to play at "Worzle Gummage", youdont get accused of griefing (till they are dead lol)and you get paid. Sweet.

It all really depends on their mood, my mood and whats going on.

Allot of times a jedi will come on with their mind set on grinding.. and that is what they are going to do. I stalk them from 1200+ and make sure i am /anon and dont have them on friends. If they want to grind they will come back out of the house. I had one escape me 2 times in row. The third time I killed him. He had his mind set on grinding and he was hell bent if a bh was going to stop him.

The more experienced ones know that the bh's are not going to stop coming for them, and they will give it up. If they are already in the hole or close to reaching another level they will not be so persistent and intent on grinding.

The fact is there are a variety of circumstances and aspects of their personality and yours. The egotistical ones will come out and grind, the cautious ones will sit in their house afk or log off and stay off. Some will log off for a short while or stay in for 30 minutes trying to get you to drop the mission.

The scarecrow tactic will work with some.. but the only "best tactic" is for you to be a good enough psychologist to find out what kind of jedi you have. Is he hell bent on grinding? Is he frustrated to the point of giving up? Is he trying to be tricky to get you to drop his mission? The scarecrow will work with one type but not with the other 2. Psycho analyze you jedi and then you will be able to tailor your approach for them. Keep psychological profiles of them in memory for future hunts as well.

If I see a BH on radar, and I am in a house I usually log off and play my alt.

There are so many things to do in this game, being stuck inside a house is not one that limits me. My safehouse is near my Alt's shop anyway (and no I do not mean the mobile variety of safehouse) so I usually take my alt to go and hover in the afk's face.

I also sometimes take up the 'who can make it to the Starport first' challenge, so I can launch into space. I love JTL and can spend 3-5 hours up there without docking once. Takes a really determined BH to get me.

And if they do, I will be the first to congratulate them too. On the other hand I finished as much of my template as I want to, so xp loss is not an issue (but I still do not like PvP and always run away if I am able.)

you know you can just push the alt key and use the cursor to hover over the dot on the radar to get the name, then /exam name?

Its not very difficult. If two dots show up and one leaves, I'd check who left and who stayed. I'd also take notice of how far the one who left went before they dropped off the radar.

That will work too, but usually, you cant examine if your LD. I will be there when they log off, and 'gone' when they come back. And since cover takes you off the radar, and hides you from view. They will walk outside and see nothing outside, and nothing on the radar. I have done this so many times. Even when they know about it, or think about it in advance, they just have to take a chance.

My Jedi Friends basically look at you name in the tells (Like Come out of the house etc) Then type /Target Name

You'll show up even under cover.
