Um, Have you had a probot lately? They die in 5 hits now. No-one buys them. Pre-nerf probots are better but not by much.

Plus there is the added effect of if droids die, thats more of a market for DEs as people will need to replace their droids.

There is one flaw in that logic. The same could be said about CHs. If they ever fixed BEs so they could make as good or better pets than what is in the wild, pet-death would allow the BEs to market the pets. As is the BE pets are pretty ganked and the proffession is turning more into a vet class than anything else. I'm really not for or against pet-death. I do like the idea that if a pet dies the HAM bar takes a hit, sort of like players. But I'd make it so you couldn't heal the black HAM bar. So after awhile you would need a new pet and thus go find a new one or buy one from a BE. But I'm still a novice and may be clueless.

Darth, yes I have been to Dathomir and Lok, actually I have been to all of the planets in the galaxy, of course i wasn't able to go too far due to I HAVE NO SKILLS. as a DE, you have No points left. We made Nothing useful for about a week because NOTHING worked. Only things we make are to aid medics and crafters. We make Nothing that aids us. We have Nothing viable for us. Do you understand There is nothing that we have to help US. CHs can have pets to protect themselves, Plus a ton of skills, Mask scent etc. Do you see where this is going? We haveNO skills, NO defining skills whatsoever. We can't go to these places, Oh but the devs will then say, BUT you need to hire people to come with you, Why? So I can make that crafting droid there?? WE have NO reason for being in those places. There isNO reason for being a DE except to make droids that are useful to a few professions.

This is where the profession has progress to. Probots were the only thing that was viable for us. <==us Not others. Now we are reduced to toybots that can't take much of a bruising. There you have it, We as a profession provide a service to a slight few people and thats it, we are a service class with no features for us.

Kylie - Good post. As I just stated in another thread, instead of fixing the other classes, they are just nerfing DE's and CH's. Pissing everyone off they will.

Kyie I understand that and thats why I sympathize with you.

"So you only get ONE rancor out now... big whoop. You can still kill anything with it, just will take longer and be less of a blood bath."

This is a common misconception, I'll let you slide since you stated your skills and haven't gotten to the point to see this proven incorrect. There are at least a handful of creatures that will eat a rancor, or three for that matter, for dinner and not even miss a beat.

Why are so many DEs over in The CH forums makeing nosie? We have our own problems are are getting ignored by Devs as much as anyone. Now they have to come here and try and filiter out all DE cross posting crap that is going on. DE != CH in any way shaape or form. Why are people compairing the two?

Heads-up on a change...

...unfortunately, it is probably one you won't like.

There are currently two tamable creatures that are unbalanced due to an abnormally high armor rating. The Gurreck & Giant Sand Beetle are going to have their armor changed from Medium to Light.

We're going to have to go through the armor ratings for all creatures, particularly tamable ones, in the near future, to catch any other glitches like this one.

Because with our probots, and you guys with your creatures, these two were possibly the best classes while all this stuff is broken in the game.

Instead of fixing the other classes and stuff, they nerfed our probot to a piece of crap and now you guys are getting nerfed.

That is what we have in common. Crazing nerfing, some announced, some not.

Did anyone think that once you have gotten and used the holocron that the FSCS is opened and you have to master that profession with the new character before the Jedi Profession is available to you?

The FSCS opens on the same server. You cannot start a new character on the same server until the FSCS opens, and that character can only be a jedi.

open your ears (or eyes since its a computer) if you can make a new character on the same server then that would mean that you have unlocked the fss the devs will notify the community when one is opened, there has been no such notification therefore NO nobody has open the **edit** slot
