testing in pvp:
headhit without duelist stance: 871
headhit WITH duelist stance: 858
Again....not worth it
only time i use it is mass pvp where those little bits add up, but for fighting good jedi, its worthless
aye, but your missing its other side. with ACC VS Def.
tested with a RM friend (cl80) he hit 10 out of 10 shots, with out DS running. he hit me all 10 times
With DS running, he missed 5 out of 10 times! so althought the shots he hit me went down say 20-30pts of damge, he did not hit me 5 of the times, so stopping 5x400 damage (was testing with ranged shot)

I'll break it down for you all.
Vs ranged attacks it can be worth it.
Vs any Jedi never use it unless they have no saber and are master powers.
Increased def does the following, increase the chance of a miss, and decrease the damage output closer to the minimum damage of the weapon being used against you. The higher your def over their acc is, the lower the amount of damage they will do. Hereis where the problemis.Lets compare a lightsaber to arifle. lets saythe saber is damage 565-650, and the rifle is510-1183. As you can see, the minmax damage spread between the saber and rifle is significant. Whats all this mean? Its simple, high def will affect the damage output of a rifle by quite a bit, where as highdef vs a lightsabermeans very little.
Keep in mind that damage is NOT reflected back at the target if they are using a melee weapon against you, so no 25 points of damage reflected when fighting a jedi.
Also, the increased chance to miss you is almostnot noticable at all. I have a base def of 220, with melee def food +100 and duelist stance+250 my melee def of +570 seems to do littleto increase their miss rate, even when combined with slapping blind on them. Feel free to run tests vs afull template Jedilike I did if you like. I expect you'll come to the same conclusion...
