Thread: Kneeling Jedi?

If he was still using saberblock while kneeling, wouldn't that be an exploit? When in doubt, report it to a csr to find out. Woorst they can do to you is say no, worst they can do to him is ban, in which case there's one less jedi.
Saberblock was never affected by posture during pre-cu and I don't think it's effected now.
A jedi can saber block while standing, kneeling, even while knocked down.
Of course back then MLS had +85 saber block which hardly any ranged shots would get in.
It's only +25 now but there is a food that increases block although not sure on it. Also Force Valor comes to mind as well. I don't have the skill so don't know much about it.

And about 20 getting ready to take his place in the next few weeks.
The kneeling thing is sorta lame...where they regen their action and mind quicker. They might even get their force back quicker. It's fine that you get your stuff back faster but you should be more vulnerable since you have less ability to move. But Jedi with high ability to block blasters benefit from this the most since it doesn't impair their ability to block.
Maybe try kip up shot next time. It might throw him off since no one uses that.

So I take a mission, I find him in eisley holding a rifle. Aight, this should be an easy kill right? So I start pounding on him, get him down to a little under half health and he pulls the saber and heals. So we go back and forth, normal fight for a while. Then he just kneels down. So I continue shooting, well now he's saber blocking literally everything I shoot at him. And he just keeps regen'ing since hes in the kneeling state, he regens pretty fast. So finally I had to log to go do something so I just leave, kept the mission though, will get him later. Anyway, I've killed quite a few jedi, am I just an idiot or was there something I could have done to finish him?
I´ve had the exact same thing. Cant remember if he wore a psg or not though.

But I do remember the kneeling part very well. He was impossible to hit....just "sat" there and regened his mind and action...I tried putting states on him...kd...bleeds...you name it. Nothing would hit or stick.
To me, this seems really strange. Normally you are vulnerable when in another position than standing. Instead my mark seemed invincible.
Devs...wanna take a look at this?
He's kneeling to regen the drain on his force pool from using Valor. Valor allows you to block a lot of stuff but reduces damage output.
So he just kneeled and let the OP wear down his weapon. ![]()
It's not an exploit. In fact it's a very light-jedi-ish thing to do. And it worked too.

I´m pretty sure my mark was using neither valor, nor aura. The only thing I´m not too sure about is wether he ate some food just prior...like thundercloud. But the whole thing was repeated 3-4 times. Oh...and he ran off into the small starport room and did his kneeling in there.

LOL@U
You nub, hes kneeling - not an exploit, hes blocking - a profession skill
Why would you report him...
The Jedi should report the BH for shooting???? omg Im gonna laugh all day at this one...
Hey if my Jedi uses the bazaar will you report him too? Cos maybe I will get brandy and that will enhance my mind, clearly an exploit...

Actually, a$$hat, I had a different thought in my head when I posted that. But since you wanna be a (Edited, stupid forum censorship), how does a melee fighter fight when he's on his knees? Does he fight for his breath? Would you know?
