please man get over it. It is tipped in your favor now. you can take any kid with a little bit of exerience and a couple decent items and stand toe to toe with a full temp jedi now. I think we both know that just is not right. A jedi knight should be far to powerful for any one bh to take on. We never expected so many jedi so they had to change the rules but as it stands now BH >Jedi more than 50% of the time.... thats not right and we all know this. So stop complaining its complaints like this that make some of the jedi wishes come true ie.... force sense danger. Being that jedi sense things and can read minds in many cases I dont think that the duel, end duel thing is wrong not only from a pvp standpoint but also from an RP stand point. If that is causing you to loose your bounty then its only because you are about to kill a new padawan who does not wish to regrind their points and has fr2 or better. You either need to move on or learn to react better to the duel. hell wanna have some fun? then run an accept macro. youll see jedi runnin all over the place.
*cough* bs *cough*Oh, and the devs want bh to be a 1v1 on jedi, not grouped, that's why they removed jedi names from the terms. Oh, and if YOU are finding that bh are better then you, it's your template, as a healer/crafter jedi will be worse in combat than a bh, but many of the jedi i have met have been better than me attack and defence wise, so i believe the jedi are 1.5x better than all others as from my own experience i know that a full temp jedi is better than a full temp bh. The /duel exploit is annoying, that's y i send a friend who is a bh towards my mark first, with an accept macro going, to distract my mark while i shoot him from afar.....Â
My success on my bh is about 70% now. We choose when to engage, the /duel to check if someone has your mission is kind of irrelevant to me. If they tried to /duel you and you are not already engaging them then you have already lost the element of surprise.
Not really, i find this happens when i load in a shuttleport or starport, which i didn't expect to see my target as my droid didn't update the wp quick enough. Sometimes i can load in theed and my mark can be there already, my only intel before i went to theed was that my mark was on naboo, so it's not bad skill that they /duel me, just bad luck. And before you flame me or someone calls me a respeccing noob, i'm not a respec bh, and i do usually load in kadaara or moenia if my mark is on naboo and go to theed shuttleport if they r in theed, just if you say "well u shouldn;t go to the most popular starport on naboo noob"

I've found that most jedi either duel it int /duel and /end duel or they have 2 buttons on their toolbar/keyboard mapped for it. It's not as common to find the ones that have a macro with a one sec pause. Anyway.... For fun in high populated areas, I wonder if the following would work:
/accept
/ui action cycleTargetOutward
/whatever your KD shot is
/macroname

Just thought of this... I will try this later unless anyone else has, it doesn't work. This would allow you to instantly accept ANY Jedi's duel request and knock them on their butts before they have a chance to end on you..... Just a little payback
Would the first line need to be /duel or does accept work?

Ok, I have said this before in another post, but you all seem to be so content with ranting that you don't care. They FIXED this a patch ago. It was a stealth nerf/fix, I am a jedi I tried to /duel someone and all it said to me is that I challenged him to a duel and then next thing ya know BOOM he shoots me. This happened TWO WEEKS AGO. I was still /duel ing BHs cause I thought I could still find out. For the jedi who aren't hunted that often they will most likely still do the /duel cause it was a stealth nerf/fix. Get some knowledge before you rant please. Thank you.

DO something devs! I dont care about getting a lava saber! Just make it so people cant tell if you are hunting them! ITS NOT VERY HARD!

Yes this is just game breaking, they just ruined all your game time oops sorry wrong forum
If you are close enough to duel you have lost the surprise so if duel was gone that just means they would leave so you still get no kill or like me I run to bounty hunters not away
well don't be insulted i have been hunted 2 time's in 3 day's by the same faction so you have to stay on your toes and trust no one

I think it's funny, honestly. I used to love walking down the Webweaver Path and getting 15 /duels... I'd stand calmly at the base of the bridge, watching them all look at me and tell them, "Surely, if I had your mission, you'd know it by now"The only time I was a little bit insulted was when Imperial jedi would /duel me. I've worked really hard to earn the trust of my fellow Imperials, and I thought I'd built a fair reputation during the past year of hunting as someone who doesn't hunt his own faction.
Ah well.
Oh yeah--carbineers get battle armor mitigation.

The only one who dont think the /duel exploit is an issue, must be those who has an main jedi char.
The exploit is makeing it impossible for those who wants to play a ninja-like assasin type of BH. If you cant play undercover to get really, really close to your mark you are forced to grind an regularCL 80 fully combatskilled BH for all-aasult purposes. Remember that everyone might not want to play a BH of this assult type.
And I thinka wide variety of BH temps(even other profs too!) makes the game more intresting ![]()

Furthermore its not intended that anyone, excep the BH himself, can know who his mark is. That is clearly definated by the devs. So far they have failed to live up to that, and even to take actions against those who violates the bug and exploits if for their own good.
