And the worst part of it (in my view) is they've* brought it all on themselves and still whine about the dev's! I've followed the Jedi forums since they opened, they were warned several times by folks that if changes eased the 'pain' of the orginal Jedi designed they'd be nerfed.
Yet they* keep at it and wonder why...
The only legit gripe I see is current lack high quality crystals/pearls.
* = I dont include myself in 'they' as I only picked up SWG because of the original design of Jedi (perma-death) and still support that...I want Jedivery difficult, powerful and dangerous to be... could be interesting if the devs bring it back as part of FRS <evil grin>

Ah, we just feel like we're getting alot of the short end here. Every pub breaks another skill, sometimes skills that aren't even combat related or a problem, they just break them. And there are alot of kiddy Jedi that aren't taking it well. But if MBH started getting all these nerfs, continuesly non-stop, you would probably see equal if not greater flames since there are more BH than us. And we all have alot of time invested into our Jedi. Then suddenly the character you put the most into, is becoming more and more nerfed untill the fun is reduced to a minor fraction of what it once was. And a Jedi that stays off the terminals, can't do any quests, or anything but hunt creatures. So it causes alot of frustration.
Just for a while, imagine if MBH started getting weird nerfs. All of your weapons got nerfed to medium range damage. The only way to restore them is to collect HUNDREDS of loot items and repeatedly try them to fix your weapons. Then your action and mind costs are added/increased on EVERYTHING you do. Then your defense mods are nerfed, and suddenly you have zip bars on your special shots. Then you read that Jedi are being beefed up at same time and have some new miracle ranged attack at novice. Oh, and top of all this, your XP is now only worth 1/5 of everybody elses becuase you are a BH. Thankfully, these changes would never happen, but it's really frustrating to continuesly receive nerfs and feel more worthless every time you log in becuase of another skill you worked for is broken.
I know, I know, we're Jedi, and due to the KIDDY Jedi at the Starports waving their LS everywhere, we're hated. But if these changes did happen to your profession, you would probably feel a little outraged. As for me, I am just waiting to see how far they will mess it up.
Here's what will be interesting to watch....
Right now there's a lot of mad clicking on the Jedi boards. This is so true. But realize, love us or hate us, Jedi and Bounty Hunter are hopelessly linked by the player bounty system. Here's what is going to happen next...
The jedi will conitinue to freak out over this new nerf. (All Melee players that want to PvP will not like it, but the Jedi will be the most vocal/critised for it).
Some BH'ers will revel in the fact that the Jedi got another nerf and post a bunch of "Cry More Newb's" posts.
Then the inevetable will take place. The BH nerf. It's happened before, and I believe it's coming again. BH'ers used to be the kings of PvP before Jedi existed. Then they got beaten nearly to extinction by the NERF bat. Right up until shortly before CU. Now they just gave us these Ranger/Squad Leader revamps (Poor smugglers overlooked again). They're not gonna nerf SL or Ranger since they just got done making that code.
Due to the screams from the Melee community (and yes, Jedi too) BH will feel the next big smack. Not because the Dev's listen to Jedi (if they did we wouldn't have gotten at least one nerf every patch since 16) but because the Dev's don't know how to fix one thing without breaking another.
Be warned, I take no joy in saying this eiether. I think BH/Jedi need to realize they are linked. Whats good for Jedi NEEDS to be good for BH and vice versa, otherwise we're just going to watch this nerf assualt by the Dev's continue.
I don't blame BH'ers when Jedi gets a nerf. I blame the Dev's incompetance. When I was a BH I didn't blame Jedi, I blamed Dev's as well.
Lets see if you all can say this with me.. C-O-M-M-U-N-I-T-Y. Thats us, the players. Not the BH, not the Jedi but the players. The Dev's are the ones jacking everything up. The cycle will continue

Unfortunately there seem to be a tool wanting to jump in and complain in every conversation.
We should put our side of the argument on this board and the jed should put theirs on the Jedi boards then the correspondants scan then take the concerns of both sides to teh devs.
I agree entirely Jedi should be allowed to get on in peace on their boards asking for MCM skills to be nerfed to heck, or for faster sabres or whatever their current issues are, and BH should be allowed to get on in peace on our boards proposing changes for our profession. I hate seeing Jedi posts constantly flaming the BH in the BH forums, and Im sure Jedi hate any BH who troll their forums a lot.

This is very true. But part of the problem is jedi is the only profession that will call for a nerf on other jedi. Granted jedi is the most varied and complex of any of the pvp professions. The sooner jedi start realizing that calling for a nerf your own profession will only hurt jedi. Because if they nerf powers, next up on the nerf list is sabers or defender.

I have been a non respec MBH and now I am a jedi...
I remember a day when only the Jedi forums were full of whiners...now it seems both forums have equal amounts of whinning....
I don't know if it is all the respec MBH or what but the BH forum has gone to bantha dung since the last time I was here....

those weren't really bonuses but more neccessary....
could you imagine losing hundreds of thousands of exp due to inability to solo? The whole concept of PvE exp loss was because most things could be soloed....you lose to something that you should be able to beat you were penalized.....post-CU death is almost required....
group vis was changed because....well...grouping is a requirement.
Jedi isn't nerfed because it is easier, they get nerfed because there is more of them than ever before.
