Or remove our action and mind bars to be viewable only for that person.

This could be used for tactical reasons as the jedi use it. If they see out mind is high and they have little to now force they run! Why can we see that our mind is low and their force is high and also run.

Just a thought im sure has been discussed before please post comments.

I think for RP reasons its not shown. You aren't a jedi so you shouldn't be "mindful" of another jedi's force. I think before you'll ever see the force bar you'll get group healing gank squads first, but feel free to complain/whine/**edit** about whatever you want.

Seeing a Jedi's force bar would be way too much an advantage for a BH. All you'd have to do was wait for it to get low and then attack. At least right now you have to watch them for awhile to calculate when their force is low. Force doesn't regen anything like a action or mind bar which can be recovered in a short matter of time. Sure, channel lets a Jedi recover it somewhat, but at a cost. To have a force bar exposed to everyone doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

ahh but is it not what a jedi does to a BH!?

Jedi watches a BHs mind. A BH can watch a Jedis mind. I win most of my BH v Jedi fights by wearing down my opponents Mind, not his Force. Most Jedi will tell you that they lose by running out of mind now, not Force. Force is an extra limiter on how long a Jedi can fight in prolonged battles.

You can see a Jedi's action and mind bar just like they can see yours. Action and Mind matter just as much as Force.

The Jedi having a Force bar is already an advantage for the BH. Allowing the BH to see it doubles that already major advantage. Good BH will be able to tell when a Jedi is low on Force without it being visually indicated for them.

It's not a major advantage and you don't need to see it. If a Jedi runs from you, they run. You aren't going to beat them in that engagement. Period. Why does it matter the reason? Are you going to feel better knowing the Jedi ran because the force ran out? If a Jedi is fighting you and all of a sudden stops healing or starts taking substantial damage, that's a good indication that the force has been depleated. A good hunter looks for those signs.

Just confused about something, could you clarify so I know how to respond? Are you saying that Jedi having a Force bar is not a major advantage for the BH or that being able to see that bar wouldnt be a major advantage for the BH?

I find it hard to believe that you would even ask that question. Of course I meant my comments in relation to "seeing" the force bar. What you are asking for would unblance things further than they are now. From an immersion standpoint, Jedi are supposed to be "hidden" and this would negate any possibility of that from happening. Just how I hide my identity as a hunter from the Jedi to avoid undue abuse and gain an advantage, they too hide their indentities from those that would abuse them simply for that they are. There are many who, will abuse a Jedi simply for being. Because they feel that Jedi should not exist in the vast numbers they do now. I've been party to guild Jedi who have been abused for no reason because an angry anti-Jedi mob feels that Jedi have ruined the game for them.

You would in theory still have the same problem even if you took the max number away. A perceptive player could watch the force bar as the jedi moves and see what kind of notch each attack puts in the bar of the jedi. Although you couldn't tell exact numbers to be able to guess a template you could see by this means how far along your opponent is on the jedi scale. Also it would give the advantage in knowing whether to press on an attack or not, knowing your opponent couldn't hang on for another flurry in a case where you might otherwise retreat. In addition you still couldn't explain what mechanism allows the non FS bh to see the jedi force strength.

No, they cannot... but since they ARE Jedi they are more intune to how another Jedi will act if their force starts toget low.

How about you made it so only the MBH on the hunt could see the marks force bar and couldnt see the max number?

If a Jedi hovers over his *own* Force bar he doesn't see the max number, just a percentage. He has to open Ctrl-C to see the max number.

I don't think anyone should see my Force bar... heck, Mace Windu couldn't tell Palpatine was lying about his Force bar.

take it as a blessing. if you ever saw how little force it takes for me to kill a BH you would be sick.
