Thread: I think Jedis force bars should be viewable to all!

I think that the jedi force bar should be shown. They can see our mind and action why cant we see their force bar?

Or remove our action and mind bars to be viewable only for that person.

This could be used for tactical reasons as the jedi use it. If they see out mind is high and they have little to now force they run! Why can we see that our mind is low and their force is high and also run.

Just a thought im sure has been discussed before please post comments.

you make it sound like we can't see their action and mind bars. Last time I checked both opponents could see the others main bars. Don't see why we need to see the force bar as well.

You can see a Jedi's action and mind bar just like they can see yours. Action and Mind matter just as much as Force.

The Jedi having a Force bar is already an advantage for the BH. Allowing the BH to see it doubles that already major advantage. Good BH will be able to tell when a Jedi is low on Force without it being visually indicated for them.

What about all those Jedi that actually deserve to be Jedi and don't run around with their sabers out, and titles up? Should we then show force bars? Think about everyone first, and not just yourself who decided it would be easier to win a fight if you knew how much force your enemy had left. Oh, and I don't play a Jedi if you think this is comming from one.

And as far as A bounty hunter haveing an edge over on the jedi seeing his force bar maybe but i still think it should be see all or nothing. Let it be a mystery to all

Keep this going and thank you for negating the flamer.

It's not a major advantage and you don't need to see it. If a Jedi runs from you, they run. You aren't going to beat them in that engagement. Period. Why does it matter the reason? Are you going to feel better knowing the Jedi ran because the force ran out? If a Jedi is fighting you and all of a sudden stops healing or starts taking substantial damage, that's a good indication that the force has been depleated. A good hunter looks for those signs.

Just confused about something, could you clarify so I know how to respond? Are you saying that Jedi having a Force bar is not a major advantage for the BH or that being able to see that bar wouldnt be a major advantage for the BH?

The other problem not mentioned yet would be quite simply you would be able to tell any player a jedi just my examining them. Some people (the vast minority) actually do try and hide their jedi nature and that would put them out right away. As has been stated, if you watch a jedi's actions closely in a fight you should be able to know when they are tiring. After all, it's not like you would have any other physical signs to indicate such. And before you say that could apply to the other three bars think about it. In a fight if your health is going down you see physical wounds appearing on the person, if your action is going down it could translate to sluggishness in the movement of your opponent, if your mind is going down it could translate to seeing the person make stupid mistakes, in all case indicators are there, but how would a non jedi be able to know when an opponent is running low on force?

I forgot to also mention that by hovering over a force bar BEFORE a fight you could get a good idea of what kind of opponent you had just by the amount of max force power they have, almost to the point of being able to guess certain templates just by looking at the force bar. Now that is an advantage.

Seeing a Jedi's force bar would be way too much an advantage for a BH. All you'd have to do was wait for it to get low and then attack. At least right now you have to watch them for awhile to calculate when their force is low. Force doesn't regen anything like a action or mind bar which can be recovered in a short matter of time. Sure, channel lets a Jedi recover it somewhat, but at a cost. To have a force bar exposed to everyone doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
