Being a space ranger does have it benefits - you can't even get into the Rodian Hunting Grounds (you *will* want to go here for some very cool rewards) without doing a space mission against tier 3-4 fighters.

hehe yep, very true - in fact I still have three stashed away somewhere in preparation for the great treasure map revamp (coming soon, I'm sure). I just thought it was pretty cool to loot something that sent you to an npc though.

I wish I knew a way to get in good with the local Wookies, since /camo isn't gonna cut it there.

I know what you mean.

My Vacatyl has died once.
My Bolodur has died 3 times.
and i also lost my Flash Speeder once there.

luckily the flash speeder can be gotten back right away with the /flash command, and by paying 20k credits.

Yeah, what's up with that? Shouldn't being Rebel give you at least a little pro-faction points? Or at least let me kill some snake heads for brownie points. Man, EVERYONE shoots at you on Kashyyyk.

The reason that the wooks attack you is not because of imp/reb faction alignment. They fight you because they are isolationist wooks. they do not want any non-wooks on their planet at all. they also do not like the wooks that leave Kashyyyk, and therefore will attack ALL players, regardless of species, gender, faction, ect.

That being said, i say DEATH TO ALL SNAKE-HEADS AND WALKING CARPETS!!!

notice how you can't attack the Rodians.

You get to kill quite some rodians in the right place, and I have made good use of this ability :-P.

"Finishing" (as in killing one of the boss mobs in there, the katarn, I have some open quests there still) this specific part of Kashyyyk was quite some fun . I'm quite happy that I dont wear armor now anymore as a tank, that level 87 elite creature probably would not have been overly nice to it .

This expansion just gets better and better. I truely have never had this much fun in swg and just wish the devs would have done this type of thing from launch.

The trails is an awesome experience especially when you get the black scale down on the forest floor. Hunting grounds is great and the trophey heads realy look great in your houses but the best area by far is Myyydril Caverns at this time. Those of you who have got to Necrosis will understand where im coming from, that place is awesome and dueling the Grevious prototype and his guards is one experience i will never forget. The devs just need to wake up and realise having purple mobs in the game even to level 80 players is just wrong and makes encounters impossible unless you have a group of level 80 jedi defenders.

Its also a similar experience in the Avatar Station but obviously in there we have balanced mobs and a tough encounter.

At present myself and my guild are prepping for the black scale compound in Kachiro so that should be fun once we have done the access quest series.

Oh and just so you know, NK Necrosis is one bad ass npc lol.

Just started the Trail quests this morning.... WOW! Having them at least semi-instanced is nice, I'm not having to go up against 25 other folks for the static spawn of wallwalla headbangers or whatever they're called, and the visuals.... Wow. Wow. Amazing.

Almost making up for the fact that I suck sooooo badly at pilot and need to practice a lot more and level up pilot efore I'll ever even get to see the hunting grounds....

Yeah the hunting grounds access quest imo is far too tough, especially considering the level of mob contained within. Its a beutifull zone though but i do think that something could be done about the mission difficulty. We have our guild powerleveling people past that mission.

Similarely I am a 3/4/3/3 Alliance Pilot and I can take out the tier 3 asteroid pirates ok, although it can take a while.

The space mining is not as straight forward as I expected (previously space mined in Eve and EnB) but it is fun and I am getting better at it. Just finished the third mining quest and got a tractor beam, also a guild friend has loaned me level 8 combat laser. So I will be able to have mining lazer, tractor beam and combat laser on my X-Wing. Gonna speak to that nice Captian Koh tonight then try it out.

Yeah, I fought Necrosis with a Jedi Knight and 6 other riflemen. that was a fun time

The Urnsor'is are a good addition to the relatively easy planet (the main map pf Kash has lvl 30ish as the highest), and I cant wait to do the Trail, the Hunting Grounds, and all the quests. I've got a good summer ahead of me grinding to Knight and doing Kashyyyk
