I just took one down, he was cl77, He was one of the more difficult ones, if he had been CL80 or CL82, I would not have been able to kill him.

I'ma Mbh/Msmuggler/0004 Pistolleer. I rarely have any problems with boss marks even with no healer. I rely on ruby and stims to get through the battle. I generally like to get them into melee range and force them to change to hand to hand combat. When you kd them make sure you get at least 2 shots on them. Usually i get 3 in, With my current temp if i start to run low on action i use startle shot which gives me a nice 30 sec break to regen. I always keep low blow on to slow down there attacks. I have also killed them with a rifle, i've never seen a boss with a rifle, from what i've seen they mostly stick with carbs and pistols. So you root and snare them, kite them and stay out of the carbine range. Just circle and shoot staying at 60-65 meters.

They exist and hit damn hard most of the time. An cyborg arm (or two) which extends your range beyond 65 meters solves this problem.

And you get a fantastic jar of bugs for you trouble!

I really dont get it...

recently I was asking the same question... "I just got pwned by a monster that has 36k ham, regens like crazy and deals me 500dmg after armor reduction per shot!"

however that was my first bounty after I came back (im pre cu Master Pistols, Master BH... ok fine I used the respec to get Investigation IV but that was the only box missing from my template !)

Anyways... now with new recon armor (6000 res) plus a PSG I get usually hit for 100 points per shot... I dont use food nor buffs.... actually I still dont know what good food is after the CU.

Unless the mark is packing kinetic weapons I hardly ever feel threathned by them... Of course I now have medic 0340 (had to drop my master marksman for it... ) so whenever my bar is 2 thirds I pop a bacta shot for almost 900 points and up and at em.

I really dont fear any of the boss marks and I ALWAYS (100% of the cases up to now) get a GOLD CL82 mark. I just choose the highest paying mission at the bh terminal (not counting jedi) which is CL80 and around 30-31k. Ive done about 20 missions, all of them no problems after the first pwning....

There was one however that was mean.. he had a striker pistol and was hitting me for 400 points after damage... since I had no kinetic armor I had to lure him towards some mob to keep him from regenerating while I took time to heal with stims (before I had medic!)

Humm the 36k + ham bosses are caek for me.. Get all wacked out on spices that increase your mind regen so you can heal more, also good armor, psg's and a good weapon help.

I had a 35k mark that was fighting me with a survival knife, it took forever to kill him but I was taking 5-10 damage tops.

And then I've had 16k marks that do 300-400 damage.

As far as I can tell everything about them is random. Their health can be a wide range and so can their weapons. Eventually you'll just run into one tough mark or one incredibly easy mark.

I have no healing in my template (MBH, MRM, Pistols 0404) and I very rarely have to use a stim. I wear my crap armour, use a cheap gun and take no food or spice.

My secret.....

I just go prone and /snipershot /rangedshot. They seem to miss a lot (more than hit) when I'm prone and I get my accuracy mods. If they try to get closer than 40mI just root or kd, move to +40m and go prone again. A friend showed me this tactic, I was nervous first time I tried it (even tho I am rifleman I just dont like being prone) but it has never failed, the silver marks are dead in about 20 seconds, the bosses can take up to 3 minutes.

yeah... that would work beautifully with aMaster Rifleman... I cant tell how many times I almost went rifle... always stopped midway because I really liked pistols better.....

Then again.. lately I cant really tell the diference between a pistol and a rifle besides range... meh!

hey i had one tonight that was lvl 81 with 36k HAM, hitting 300-800 dmg, non boss target....took a while ot do it but i killed him...what did i get as a reward? 127 phucking credits. WOW! NICE REWARD!@!!!
