Thread: 36k HAM boss, gimme a break!

I understand this guy is a boss mark, but he is hitting me for like 375, even with foods, spice, and stance. I have CM 4-0-0-0 and either cant keep up with the heals, or run out of mind, even with mind food.
He has killed me 3 times, wthcan I do?>

You've got to be doing something wrong, i can't even begin to speculate on what that might be though. I'll try... 
What foods are you eating, and what spice?
What weapon are you using?
What is the energy resist on your armor?
Are you running out of mind or action first?
Are you using a Stim D everytime it's available? Are you drinking Ruby Bliel? (sp?)
Are you using your medic heals as needed, or when you take first 500 point of damage? (EI: Are you healingprematurely?)

Check what weapon he's using in the combat log and equip the appropriate armor to reduce his damage. I just had a really tough fight with a 35k Boss and he was actually hitting me for 666 damage! Of course this was with a virbroblade doing energy damage to me. I wear 8k+ Kinetic Resist BH Armor and a PSG. Of course, since the vibroblade is melee, the PSG didn't help me so he was really laying it on me.

1) Get a combat droid w/medical 110,if you can find one they hit them for 100 or so and give you a boost to your healing if it has medical.The droid I am using right now hasthe armor (bugged to 1200ish), weapon, medical rating 110, and distribute stims to me as well. Tak to a droid engineer on your server and they can tell you about the options.
2) If there is a lot of creatures around that will not attack you run and stand right on top of the lair, when he hits you he hits the lair also. This will get the entire mob hitting him as well, and buy you plenty of time to heal.

For those (and i killed 5 of em today), I use a pet to tank for me, and i also lead him over to a lair.
i also hit one, heal one pretty much most of the time - one of mine was hitting for 450... took a while but got him in the end

MBH/MP/CM4xxx here..
KD, Critical/Body, Normal, Critical, N, C etc..
Stance on all the time.
Disarm if your mind is going down.
Heal only when uterly needed.
Use Stims for healing aswell.
Get armor shieldling u from the dmg he makes. (Kin/Energy)
Get a good weapon. (Low SAC, high DMG)
Get a MDoc or MCM with you to heal you up all the time.
Keep going at it.

ya not sure man, I can kill one these guys using a chest plate and helmet only...i only use booster blue, blob candy on them as food
temp : MP/MBH 0004 CM I hit him with the -speed debuf maybe thats why they dont hit my for so much dmg but really its just a matter of time till they go down i can stand in one place and kill them easy

Going by personal experience here as a cl 82 hits me for around 1-120 dmg per hit/ I would say this guy isn't a full temp BH.

Not neccessarily, I get an awful lot of fluctuation in damage dealt by NPC marks, 1 hit me for 300+ a hit like this one and was silver eilte, the next hit for 4 - 12 and was gold.
It's marks like that tho that influenced my choise of BH/Doc, Bacta Infusion and stance with 6k resist battle armour and a psg with self buffing thrown in, I just sit back and out last them

You might need to review your tactics and gear. I can take a boss down without too much concern. I'm a MR MBH CM 4000 (respeced from MC to MR) with 8040 energy resist and a decentadvanced LR. I also used good stims/bactasprasy and make sure I have full Doc buffs on when starting the fight. I will have to heal several times in the fight, and it can take a good 5 mins to knock 35k down, but if done correctly you should feel very confident that your walking away with the cash and not cloning home.
