No. Jedi and BH are balanced (at 1.5 vs 1) assuming the Jedi has around 225 skill points in Jedi skills and the BH has around 250 skill points in BH and other regular combat professions. With just CL 67, my guess would be you have MBH and maybe two tier-4 elite boxes at most, way too few skills to actually be able to compete with a fully templated Jedi.

lol . ouch .. Bitter :-)
Everyone whines to nerf others .. Jedi and Bounty Hunter both cry a lot. Give a tailor some love .. and what about Ranger. :-)
Btw .. a friend took out a full template Jedi and 2 others that were on there way to full template and she was just CL 70. She attributed it to buffs and the right foods and hitting at the right time.
She managed to kite them with her rifle and hit them when they didn't expect it.
It's called Combat Level .. not .. Skill Level.
Thank goodness most jedi just have "Combat Level"
If you fight a CL111 mob, even as CL80, you will miss quite a few attacks. The same applies here.

While techically true, your combat level determines your hit points... thus a cl 67 is gonna get owned every time by a level 80
Your wrong, a lvl 67 can take enough health food and health spice to get them at 4.5k health.

So I'm a CL 67 and the jedi is 80. I'm loaded up on food and drink, and my mark is just standing around in the dant spaceport. I pull out my rifle, duelist stance up and take a knee. My first shot knocks him down, my second applies the bleed, and third blinds him. He's on the ground a good two minutes, and I'm hitting torso as fast as I can...I get himi to three quarters down in health and I'm thinking I caught him AFK....then his health starts shooting up, and I can't outdamege the healing fast enough. He's still on the ground knocked down and now I'm wondering if he hasa buddy healing him. He finally gets up, closes before I can get away, and that's that..in about thirty seconds he owns me. I can't get knockdown, concussion or any state on him, and his saber just kicks my butt. I know I should have stayed out of his range, but he seemed to close so fast, and my movement was hampered by the rifle.
What else can I do..is it feasible for a CL67 to down a CL 80?
This was my first attempt at hunting jedi, and while I think I got pwnd, I think I did okay.
Any ideas?
Thank you,

Altho damage is only MULTIPLIED in PVE combat. What you will lose out on are, further accuracy, speed and defense bonuses due to lack of skill boxes trained. In pvpit mayseem you are taking more damage (unlike the one hit incaps in pve, lol), but that's because your defense mods are not up to par to mitigate damage. You will also miss out on advanced skills of the same types. For instance all combat trees have an improved or advanced line of the same attacks which do xx more damage, xx longer roots, etc.
At level 67 you are probably missing out on the advanced / improved versions of these skills. Although you can still hunt pc jedi at your level, it is recommended to finish off your template so that you have a wide array of skills at your disposal. However, don't assumewhen you hit level80, it just becomes easy. You will suffer many defeats as you fine tune your tactics and upgrade your gear...

Wow.... I was a little taken aback by this.... almost thought you were kidding. You did very well for your first attempt and also for being a level 67. As everyone stated above, 67 vs 80 will get owned just about every day of the week and twice, on sunday.
"So I'm a CL 67 and the jedi is 80. I'm loaded up on food and drink, and my mark is just standing around in the dant spaceport. I pull out my rifle, duelist stance up and take a knee. Taking a knee will almost alwasy result in loss of life, since you cannot move. My first shot knocks him down, my second applies the bleed, and third blinds him. He's on the ground a good two minutes, and I'm hitting torso as fast as I can...I get himi to three quarters down in health and I'm thinking I caught him AFK.... He was probably "toying" with you since you were a level 67 at the time. then his health starts shooting up, and I can't outdamege the healing fast enough. You will almost never outdamage Jedi heals. It's like trying to outdamage a CM or a Doc.... it can be done, just VERY difficult to do. He's still on the ground knocked down and now I'm wondering if he hasa buddy healing him. Jedi can heal laying down, nice right? Once you enter combat the BH TEF negates any outside help from other players. He could not have been healed by a friend. He finally gets up, closes before I can get away, and that's that..in about thirty seconds he owns me. Very typical. Probably hit you with armor break, KD'd you and it was all over since you were a lower leve with less hit points. I can't get knockdown, concussion or any state on him, and his saber just kicks my butt. Being a lower level you have less accuracy, and he could have had foods that would contribute to his blocking and/or dodge ability. I know I should have stayed out of his range, but he seemed to close so fast, and my movement was hampered by the rifle. With Jedi Force Run it's very hard to stay out of their range, since it negates any snare you put on them. Once you KD them, there is about a 30 second timer before you can land another KD on them...
All in all.... not bad. You sound like you know what you are doing at least with your template, but I would recommend, like the others, that you level up to CL80 before you try to take on anymore Jedi for pay. You can always try out your skills on a Jedi in your guild. This is the best way to train in my opinion, since they will NOT kill you..... They will teach you what works, what doesn't, and what is questionable.
Without the benefit of your template to work from.... I'd say that you might want to invest in some healing for yourself, so you can take some damage and "heal it off". I'd also recommend getting yourself some high resist (7000+ energy) armor + an energy PSG, some dodge food, block food, etc. Synthsteak is awesome if you use it at the right time, and that's usually when the Jedi get's close to you. Pop in a synth steak, shrug off the damage they deal out to you, and then KD/snare/root (whichever you have) to get out to optimal range again.
You do sound like you're off to a good start though! Keep asking questions, never hurts to learn from our past experiences!

Sadly, this isn't true anymore. There are normal templates that will beat any Jedi template everytime. There are MBH templates and equipment that never loose to Jedi unless they get KD bugged. The 1.5x stronger might of been the goal, but it's not true, even one of the DEVs stated Jedi were not properly for the CU.
And to the poster, yes, you must finish your template first to go Jedi hunting, unless you catch a Jedi who is an idiot and only cl58 and on the terminals, I've seen them kill NPCs while that incomplete before, lol.
