Actually the OP has no clue exactly how far away the Jedi was by saying 6-15m.
It's quite easy to tell if someone is 6m from you as that is just out of saber range.
20m is not a very far distance in regards to the view on the screen.

Most of the time its accidental. You just go to attack someone when cloaked and they still can't see you (but you can see yourself). So unless your told your still invisable, you don't actually know.

so, exactely what the hell are they doing to cloak, i've heard so many things i dont know what to believe, i am going to be jedi tomorrow and my current template is

what? you are going to be jedi tomorrow and you have that temp currently? How is that possible? Either you are a jedi now or aren't and do not have that temp.
