Same goes for BH trolls on jedi forum. But since I play both MBH and Jedi I feel justified in posting on both.

The thing that gets me is that Jedi shouldn't have a problem with the concept of being hunted at all. Most accept it while some complain at the idea of being the mark of a bounty hunter. It's ridiculous. How many Jedi did you see in the original Trilogy? 3, 4? Feel lucky you even have a lightsaber.

As for the jedi having nothing to gain, I understand the frustration. I also realize that if you want to be a jedi it comes with the turf. It's the nature of the beast. Although it wouldn't bother be if Jedi were granted a certain amount of XP for every bounty hunter they killed. I think that might incite jedi to stay and fight more often.

MOST Jedi don't have a problem with being hunted. In fact I know several that enjoy it and love whacking an entire 3-5 BH gank squad [ not as often since CU, but they still enjoy the fight. I enjoy evading my persuers, not fighting them. Its just my style. I think the jedi that have the biggest problem are the ones that are 150Kish on terms. They don't have enough old skills or enough new ones to survive and they get ganked over and over and over. Jedi mainly hate exploits, IMO. When I cloak, a BH shouldn't be able to use /tar player name to attack me. BH's complain about LoS bug on Kash trails, but most use it to their advantage themselves. I have seen BH's use every bug in game to whack a jedi...right now the smuggler shot one. When you have all this crap to deal with and keep getting whacked by the same BH over and over and over, because he knows how weak you are, and your at -2 million xp while your getting 700 xp per kill, it tends to make you bitter. From where I sit, playing both sides, The jedi have the most to be pi$$ed off about over the past 8 months. As a MBH I think this new publish will make hunting jedi more fun for the true BH and will end the griefing of Paddies by bottom feeders. I don't need a name to take out a jedi with macros. I don't need to troll paddy grinding spots, and I don't care if my jedi is killed. My temp has been finished for a long time and neg xp means nothing to me. HUnt me all you want. I was killed last week for the first time in months. I didn't trash talk, or say anything in fact, I just cloned, healed myself and went back to the bazar terminal and finished my shopping spree. Only reason he got drop on me was because I was engrossed in multiple datapad, bazar and inventory screens. He used smuggler explit on me, and I was on my back and incapped in 2 hits. Good for him. He got me when I wasn't paying attention. That's what BH's do. However when BH's start taking about things like being able to eject Jedi from their houses and such, I think they are the ones that just want a 'giftwrap, deliverand kill' button. That stuff is what makes jedi warey and over time, bitter.

BH come in groups of 5 to take down little paddy's .

It's a game, ur supossed to be hunted, ur not supossed to know if ur being hunted.

I take missions from 40k-226k.....cause I'm a BH and I go after you no matter what lvl you are.

Let me help you:

You make it very clear you're confused and hypocritcally posting somethng you're complaing about. Even though I agree about 5BH's being a complete joke and a blatant lie this still lacks the validation you seek. As for your poorly conveyed message "ur supposed to be hunted, ur not supposed to know if ur being hunted" I challenge you to show me something printed by SOE relating to this message. I'm EXTREMELY curious what's caused you to have delustional episodes, do you're parents know about your needs?

I'll tell you what. You make a Bountyhunter on Bria and come track me down. ur so uber 1337 u will pwn me like a nub !!!!11!!! and if you do have what it takes, I'll tip you 2x my payout.

Don't step up to bat if you can't hit the ball kiddo.

The jedi do have a valid complaint about bh ganging up to hunt them. I watched a level 70 bh and a level 67 bh team up and attack my level 22 jedi wife at the same time while she was already hurt from fighting level 80 creatures grinding jedi points. Personally, what i want to see is the general rule that if you attack one member of a group then the entire group can aggro and attack back regardless of bounties, factions, whatever. I include factions because I am neutral and have also had the problem of watching my other wife be attacked by three members of the opposite faction and being unable to do anything about it.

If rebels, imps, or bh can gang up to attack one member of a group, this is unfair. If a group attacks a member of a group and is then attacked back by the other group, that's not only fair, that's realistic. I don't know anyone who would stand by and not do something if a friend or spouse was attacked and outnumbered in real life.

How naive are you? Just because we rise into the ranks of Jedi doesn't mean we stop playing an alt who is a BH. I was a BH for far longer than a Jedi. I didn't do the holo grind, was already glowy when that system was put in place because I played the game, not abide by the little blue cube. My main is now a fully templated Jedi. The only character I respec'd was my crafter because I'm just not interested in the crafting system no longer.

I've got 4 alts, one of which is a BH. I ground BH in the pre-mount days when the missions were even more bugged than they are now. And this was all done on foot. Creatures weren't introduced, player cities weren't introduced, and guess what? Vehicles weren't even in the game. Not all Jedi were created post-CU using respec during the double xp weekend.

As far as your concern goes, I like the upcoming changes. Then again, I'm up for a challenge. If my mark turns out to be a fully templated Jedi, then I better make d@mn sure I brought my A-game to fight him. These changes are to prevent bottom feeding and griefing of Jedi by the BH community. Obviously something was needed if the current system was abused, and it was abused.

Being a BH isn't about winning every time, which is the problem with most BH's I've run into. They want the quick buck. Sorry, but the quick buck is supposed to be made by smugglers (a topic for another time). Being a BH is about taking a bounty, regardless of difficulty, excercising patience and knowing when to strike. That said, I don't agree with not getting the name until in visual range of your mark. That does take away the element of surprise and observation.

Let me just say this... Bounty Hunters and Jedi whine equally as much as each other. It's funny to see one whiner saying "nuh uh! they are the ones that whine!!11!! Waahhhhh!!!! poor me!!!!"
