Yes, I agree wholeheartedly that we should be able to hunt our marks in space. That is one of the most "Star Warsy" aspects of the game! It would also add some much needed content to the space game. However, I don't think that jedi should be forced into space, but I'll bet they could create some attractive Jedi content to add to space that would get more of them up there.

Question.... if my Jedi mark is on the Avatar station, can I kill them there?

Anybody seriously interested in hunting Jedi in space should read this thread first.

I know all about PvP in space. Been there, done it, still do it. When I was imperial, I flew overt for the entire profession from novice to master. When I was Rebel, same thing. Now I'm a master freelance pilot.

While I personally dislike the way PvP in space is with the 1-2 shot kills and the JSF/RGI/BB22 dominance, it is still a part of the game, just like JTL is part of the game. They play completely differently, sure, some are better at one than the other, sure. Still , it is part of the game, and there should be no division within the game that seperates the two. It is a fundemental flaw to seperate Space/Ground combat. They are the same game , just one requires better reflexes and hand eye coordination than the other. Both are still Star Wars Galaxies. Both are still part of the Star Wars saga.

IMO, one of the biggest problems in this game (aside from the bugs) is that Space and Ground aren't a cohesive unit considering that space combat IS Star Wars, yet in game, it has 0 influence on the ground game. The two should work together, they are the same game, just played differently.

The dev's have flat stated that the ground game and the space game will be mostly separate.

That doesn't make it "right" ....

Other things the dev's have said :

" We intend to keep Jedi rare."

" Smuggler revamp is on the way "

Things that I have said :

" The original developers don't have a clue how to make a.) a Star Wars game. b.) an MMORPG c.) a MMORPG based on Star Wars."

And don't get me wrong Leather, I have read many of your posts and have agreed with you about 90% of the time. Keeping the two elements seperate is a sensless implementation (space/ground) to properly make a Star Wars game where the two should be cohesive and effect each other.

The reverse of what everyone says to Jedi who ask for force powers applies to BHs who ask for bounties in space. If you tell a Jedi who asks for powers in space that if they get that, they should expect to be hunted, then you should be prepared to say that if you hunt a Jedi in space, be prepared for them to have something extra to make up for it.

It's a bad idea both ways.

The problem is JTL and SW:G are pretty much two separate games with two vastly different playstyles. JTL is more twitchy and reaction time than SW:G.

If only the ground game were twitchy

Think i'll quit and go play Battlefied 2 or wait for Battlefront 2...though the first Bfront wasn't all that great...cool concept, just not very fun for very long.
