Showing the WP in space is handy if you're actually going to try to track the person down...if you have a faster ship than your mark, you can usually get to whatever space station they're heaeded towards and meet them on the ground. (easy to do on Lok and Kashyyyk)

I can say that I 100% disagree with this. The fact that you can't , is just another silly , stupid, poorly thought out concept in this game.

Forcing PvP in space is not a good idea in this game. Some people might enjoy it but not everyone that plays a Jedi well on the ground can fly well enough to pvp there.

The only time anyone is forced to go into space is to go to Kashyyyk. Aside from that , noone is forced to go into space.

You die in JtL PvP if you get hit by 2 salvos of blaster fire at most - my fighter does about 7k damage per salvo, and you will be hard pressed to find a combination of shields and armor that can block more than 4k damage. Factor in the first strike capability of BH and they can line you up perfectly to hit you twice before you even know whats happening.

Jedi cannot use Force powers in space, so BHs cannot hunt Jedi in space. Simple as that.

So those that want to hunt jedi in space agree to us having uber jedi reflexes giving massive bonuses to PYR and other assorted jedi skills?

I can guarantee the majority of the playerbase doesnt want this, if you feel strongly enough go post this on the pilots forum see what they say.

You wanna be a Jedi/Pilot, go be a Jedi/Pilot. Nothing stopping you at all. Don't get vis though (and no I dont think there should be vis gained in space).

2nd No Jedi is forced to go into space except to go to Kashyyyk. And if you want to go to Kashyyyk...fly a yacht...it isn't attackable period.

3rd As for the force in space: Ludicrous idea, as well asnext to impossible to implement,but if you were to get it to compensate for the fact that you need it to survive a BH attack in space, so be it, I would still shoot you down as soon as I caught you, or die trying.

4th as for first strike, in space, remove it. Make the Jedi appear red to the BH and the BH appear red to the Jedi.

The ground game and the space game need things that tie the two together. This is just one way to do that. If you are a Jedi and scared to go into space...then um, can ya really call yourself a Jedi or a Pilot? Fear isn't a part of being a Jedi, and pilots have to fly.
