if you think going afterjedi AFK sitting in houses .. FORCE running into the depths of the ocean until tef wears off ... fighting a master defender for 40 minutes only to lose ... and jedi running and hiding into factional bases, isnt working for your money .. i have NOOOOO idea what the heck is ...
be a Bounty hunter and see for yourself ..

Ive been a BH since I got the game, which was before you knew about SWG
LOL ... then why did you sell out your proffession so quickly?
why turn into one of those whining jedi pretending to make constructive posts in the BH forum about what " youd like to see as a BH" but really what it is is a disguised jedi whine about how hunting jedi is " too easy"
who would want to spend 2 days or whatever in a prolonged tracking or investigation setting only to find a jedi locked in his house AFK all day while hes at work?
and you know why jedi do that dont ya? so you remember that they were an AFK house sitter and dont want to take the chance of wasting more time taking their mission
P.S. just because you have a "BH ALT" doesnt mean your a BH ... the day you support the proffession and look out for its best interests and actually HUNTMARKS ( npc or jedi )is the day you are a BH ... till that day you are just a jedi with a BH account to hold his mission pre pub 20
k thx

If you only knew, like I said I've been a BH through thick and thin since before the droid fixes and mission fixes, I've done it all. Never held one mission on myself. Im a BH saying I want a challenge, I can kill jedi easy and Im sorry if Id like a more challenging process that involves some kind of system to prevent jedi from running and hiding in houses and actually makes taking BH missions worthwhile.

ty noob
I have an idea for you, and this will work without any changes to the rest of the game. How about YOU hunt jedi without droids. That should give you the tracking challenge you seek.
And, as far as jedi running and hiding in houses, that's part of the challenge. But then again, it seems you shouldn't have this problem as you stated, 'I can kill jedi easy.' If that's the case, why do you want to force them into a combat situation where they can't run?

So, here is what I get so far.....
He has a BH template, that he has had since before most of us began playing SWG, and he can kill Jedi easily.
According to his second post, he has ground out at least one and possibly two Jedi for himself.
He wants it to be harder to find them, and take longer, which with the current time limit would enable them to get away permanently.
However he also wants them to be "forced" to accept the challenge when he throws down the gauntlet, because he knows he can beat them easily and there is no reason for them to delay the inevitable.
He has pulled the missions for his own Jedi toons, but doesn't keep them.
He just makes sure that they are off the terminal for a period of time.
Sounds to me like someone is bored.
I would suggest one of two things.....
Either start a new toon on a different server and grind out an entertainer where you can dance and play music and your target audience actually comes to you......
Or surrender several of your skills to give yourself more of a challenge. How about keepingonly oneInvestigation box, 1000, and then surrendering any Master Combat skills you have (MR/MC/MP/TKM etc.)
Starting off with having to use crappy droids to investigate, combined with weak combat skills should give you just the challenge you are looking for.
Also I would warn against any food, drink or stims that might give you buffs, as these make combat easy as well.
People have serious reading problems, while in the middle of a mission the said jedi would not be able to run/hide. I think Ive said that twice already..

you contradicting yourself you want them to be locked into battle yet " dont want them handed to you" you want to increase tracking time ....
More involved to find them, and once you do they have no choice but to fight you.
tracking jedi hiding and on kashyyk IS that increased tracking time you want ... jedi CANT get rides and CANT hide in houses ... when was the last time you actually hunted a jedi? whos the noob now?
Which should be fixed that they cant be hunted on kashyyk
and there is one feeling i had reading your original post which i have changed .. when i first read your post i thought you said you WANTED jedi to be able to run ect.. bla bla bla ...
Reading comprehension again
but i think asking for more work in tracking a jedi is silly when you really stop to consider what changes the devs would actually make with regards to MAKING a jedi face you .. they will never create a game mechanic forcing jedi out of their houses AFK ... ect...
Theres no way of knowing that, but ty for the speculation on what the devs would or wouldnt do
p.s. you should also know the longer it takes to track a jedi .. the greater the odds he signs off before you get to him ... making the whole proccess even lamer ...
Actually the longer it takes, is exactly what Im suggessting, that missions should take more than 10 minutes, maybe a day or two and make it worthwhile when you get the kill.
p.p.s. noob ( i hate using this word but you called me one first) uuugh
Think you need to go back to gradeschool and take some reading classes.
The fact that you say it's easy to kill jedi makes me question just how many jedi you've killed and how often you hunt.

Look all Im trying to say is Id rather have something more involved and worthwhile then hunting 5 jedi in a half hour and all 5 of them either on kashyyyk or in a house, or running into one after you engage. Sorry I mentioned actually doing work in my post it upset some of the noobies.
Eh, you want a bounty that is easy to catch?
Where is the "hunter" aspect of that.
You want them "rooted" once you spot them so they can't leave? But do you run if you think you are going to die? Why do they not deserve the same chance?
If you are hunting 5 Jedi in a half hour, you are either killing them very quickly, in which case their running into the house didn't seem to affect you too much, or you are giving up on the hunt when you realize you would have to wait for them to come back outside.
Boohoo.
As far as work goes, it doesn't take a n00b to notice that you obviously have masochistic tendencies in that regard. Apparently you feel that work should be as hard and difficult as possible. Why? So you feel like more of a man when you finally find a mark? Why did you spend XP in Investigation if you are going to gripe about how easy that makes it? Just quit using droids then. Some of us appreciate the little perks and bonuses you gain in making the job easier. Do you think Fett was pi55ed when he left the ISD and found the Falcon floating out with the garbage? Did he say "Well that's just great! Now what should I do with the time I had planned to actually spend hunting the guy?!"
Get AGrip.
Sounds like you have a serious problem, and should spend less time on the boards griping and more time deciding what exactly it is that you want to do for a profession.
I know, for a challenge, don't use a ship to go from one planet to the next, by a ticket and use a shuttle. Then, when on the planet, don't use shuttleports or vehicles or mounts. Walk everywhere so you have a harder time reaching your bounty before he moves or someone else gets him. That should make it harder and more difficult.
