yeah..i agree master defender is kinda boring..would like to be master powers, but living is sooo much funner, specially against those pesky BHers...least w/this patch i hope they start coming for me..

I didn't use my token, not until the CU is actually published to Live. So far we've only seen a fraction of what it should be.
Once all the flip-flopping of skills' usefulness stops changing every other week, I'll consider what template I will find interesting and fun. Until then, their feeble attempt at annoyance to drive a hasty respec with a persistent pop-up box will be met with my mighty ALT key.
I think you are overreacting.
While some skills got balanced, on the upside Powers got major love, sabers got action and force costs reduced and elemental damage will help as well. Ditto for Enhancers getting some love as well. Force Armor had big issues that just got resolved.
Also, do not forget that until now no Jedi ever used Stims or Ruby Biel. So, with that + heals mind bar still would be very managable.

Until you lose 2 rounds in combat just to try and heal adequately without destroying your secondaries, which at the same time brings 1,000's of damage for those of us who don't want Jedi to just be Master Defender + (insert other Mastery here). Then the "manageable" claim loses it's ground.

Sabers got Action and Force costs reduced, but lost a ranged knockdown + an area ranged knockdown, had a warm-up timer added to an attack that still does only 2/3 the damage of a good rifle, if not less, and the stupidly impossible process of getting good crystals and pearls (combined with the wonky tuning process) basically sets all post-CU Jedi at a very distinct damage disadvantage vs. non-Jedi professions and all the perfect pearl vet Jedi with no action cost sabers.
Elemental damage is aboost for ALL weapons, not just lightsabers.
Enhancer got nerfed because now Action and Mind costs were added. And Stasis got a warm-up timer when CM's Paralyze didn't.
Overreacting? No. Balance? No. Things once again swung too far one way.
I stand by my statement - BH = run, you'll have no content from me. I'm still waiting to see any kind of balance for ALL with this CU, and all I see are extremes.
Enough with the one side overpoweredto another side overpowered junk - balance things and make it right. This is becoming ludicrous.

ya, good points. i'm not plannin to go powers anytime soon so sayin that powers are gettin love means nota to me, and i never saw power attack doin enough damage to warrent a warm up timer

It did roughly 1000 damage for me in PvE. Why bother with a warm-up? Any decent non-Jedi weapon will hit for that in PvE.
My rifleman hits for over 1400 damage in *PvP* with advanced sniper shot. No Force cost, and foods and drink can aid in Action regen. There are no Force regen foods and drinks for Jedi. Even a decent Force regen CA will cost you 10's of millions and won't help you regen Force in any timely manner.
Any non-Jedi will use a heal with Ruby Bliel to improve heal time, no Force cost, no Action cost, only Mind cost.
Publish 19 now effectively forces Jedi to manage 4 HAM bars instead of 3, and quite frankly pre-CU I thought that 4 HAM bars was too much. Things got levelled out in that regard with the CU, but here we Jedi are again - 4 HAM bars to manage, one of which is impossibly slow to heal (Force).
Adding 1 HAM bar to manage to Jedi across various disciplines (Healer, Enhancer) is unbalanced. Plain and simple. I mean, really.
I would have WELCOMED and ENJOYED a sporting chance for BH to fight Jedi, by BOOSTING heals and skills for non-Jedi. Instead, we get the dumbed-down and nerfed logic that plauged this game pre-CU. Nothing has changed. CU2, here we come.

The problem with the Jedi profession is basically in that statement above. Powers were pretty weak before this patch... but a Jedi who doesn't have Powers will say "Screw those guys, I only care about MY template being fixed. This patch sucks!"
Wrong. That's not what I'm saying.
Powers needs to be equivalent to Sabers. Simple as that - and changes like those for Pub19 need to happen to make that a reality.
I have NO qualems about Powers getting attention, they need it and they will continue to until it's equivalent to sabers.
The problem is a sub-par damage attack for sabers just got a warm-up timer for no reason that I see.

You dont expect everyone regrind to powers do you? Everyone gets elemental damage fix which means jedi wil be getting more damage as well as dealing it. What's the point in costs reduced if jedi wont be able to survive root.
