That would be fun to do. If you could catch the Jedi in a spin group he would be so preoccupied with the group he would never see you hit hik on the combat log. He would get incapped, and healed by a friend in the group then incapped again and again and die. that would be very funny

I've also heard about this supposed change where you won't be able to use force powers and any weapon but an LS. Aside from this being a silly change if they do implement it, I don't see it as being anything more than a nuisance. There is no penalty for switching weapons in combat, so equipping and unequipping a rifle to use force powers will just require that the BH pay a bit more attention. It's not really a deterrent to using hybrid templates as far as I can tell.

If we had a bunch more SP sure. Cloak is useless imo and w/o it in a full jedi template not even effective. Im not to sure about that, but im pretty sure cloak needs alot of force and I dont think youll have alot of force with that template. ( not to sure, just what I hear )

How will you damage?

How will you heal?

It would only be good for running AND you would get yourself on the terminals im pretty sure.

It wouldn't be too viable. For one thing, you would have to be able to defend yourself from other bounty hunters. Then you would have to carefully choose your offensive skills, and be able to beat a full template Jedi, since that's mostly all that's on the terminals now anyways.

Chances are you will have a very broken template, because you cannot wear armor either untill you uncloak. But yes, you would have a nice first strike capability. But why not just go all the way Jedi at that point? I don't think it would work too well half and half.

I have played numerous hybrid templates:

MBH/Enhancer4xx4/Healer4xxx/Powersx4xx is one of the templates i've played, from this template I found my biggest problem was accuracy, sure with cloak I was nearly invincable, I could just run off and cloak if i needed to retreat, and with FR nobody could escape my sights, but I couldn't land enough blows past a defenders Aura in order to kill, before they changed the terms to where the missions are nameless, I was very very lethal, I could pick on anyone under 175k and pretty much lay them down with ease, once the terms changed though I often found myself fighting full templates and scrolling the combat log with misses.

I've also been RM/BH/Mdef/Healer4xxx (before master BH was required) this was another nearly invincable template, however lugging around a heavy rifle (I use a bowcaster as I am a wookiee and it does kinetic damage) I could fight a full template, tanking him even, but once his force started getting low, he'd just run away, and I had no way of keeping on him long enough to finish him off.

The way I see it, before MBH was required to hunt players, BH hybrids were VERY powerfull, but now MBH requires too many skillpoints to be able to make a MBH hybrid template strong enough to lay down a jedi knight.

As of now I am RM4xx4/Pistoleerx3x4/Enhancer3xx4/Powersx4xx/Healer4xxx (dropped FR2 because the damage reduction blows chunks). My defences are crap, I can' wear armor, if it wasn't for being able to cloak, I'd hide in my house all day long. But i have 80 m range with a damage/SAC capped bowcaster, have full set of acc/speed CA on my clothing and 2 ranged area attacks, in group pvp I am devastating, I very much miss being BH but hybrid doesn't work with MBH, only worked before when you could dabble in investigation.

Big deal, thats what macro hotkeysare for.

Attacking will break your cloak.

While there is a BH on my server (Xionshi and Starsider) that does this, I just dont see how it can possibly be fun to follow someone around for hours until they incap for some reason, I'd rather get the fight than the db.

Oh, also, be aware that in the TC .tre files there is code to make it so you cannot use force powers if you have anything but a lightsaber equipped.

So is that something new that's coming out? Because I just equipped a pistol and used it while I was using force powers.
