it would be fun, but it will never be implemented.

too many people would abuse the system and cause massive griefing. Forced PvP is BS anyway and while I personally welcome it, alot of other people i know dont like it.

I don't really get into PVP either but this is also a game meant to be played online with next to no content besides PVP..

I can assure you that the PvP is not what jedi resent. It's the loss of XP that is inflicted on them for playing the game. Remove XP loss and jedi hating BH's will stop...instantly. And I agree with the poster in here who said that many BH's actually hunt jedi because it causes XP loss to other players. This SOE-endorsed "griefing" is what this particular breed of BH's thrive on and live for.

Originally I believe that the XP loss was enstated in order to actually limit the jedi population. I think we can all agree that this was a good "theory" but failed miserably in "practice". All it has achieved is a timesink only beneficial with regards to players hanging onto their accounts longer than they otherwise would have. But gamewise it has acheivednothing else but frustrate the jedi playerbase. BH's are the obvious and natural targets for jedi to vent their frustration on, allthough it should rightfully be directed at the gamedesigners. It could be foreseen...and perhaps it even was.

As for hunting other players I don't think you will get much hatred, UNLESS...you cause them grief for fullfilling a bounty (either XPloss, credit loss, item lossor any other loss intended purposely to frustrate and disrupt their gameplay). Dare I say that many would find it fun and excellent gaming content. The jedi would...if only it didn't cause them the grief of "starting over" regaining lost XP because of being the BH's online gaming content.

I agree, remove XP loss, balance Jedi so that it is as powerful as a regular combat class and make it a regular profession. Then there will be no griping about XP loss, and then maybe we could get some good content for the BH profession.

I say institute player bounties, but do not allow players to put bounties on other players, just make a static set of rules that will get you on the terminals, and apply a few rules to the system.

1. A player can only recieve a bounty 1 time every 72 hours.

2. Player gear does not decay from a bounty hunter death.

3. A player's bounty will remain active for 5 days and then be cleared if the player has not been killed.

I am really getting tired of hearing Jedi, or seeing them for that matter, I dont even want to hunt them anymore...just lay some ground rules that are optional to allow people to get on the BH terminals and then get me some fresh blood in here because I'm tired of the Jedi community. Take them out of the civil war, let them have their own end game out in the wilds somewhere killing each other I dont care as long as they arent around me.

I pointed out a system over a year ago that would work beutifully. Simply, put an option in peoples option menu that allowed themselves to be put on the terminals. Not everybody wants to PvP, and not everybody should have to(jedi should as it's part of hte profession, anybody who says differently is an idiot). Bounty Hunters shouldn't be able to hunt each other as it is part of the bounty hunter code, and seeing that we all work for the BH guild, we must all follow that code.

and for jedi reading this, Jedi should NEVER be able to hunt BH's. It doesn't make sense, no where in star wars did this happen(obi-wan seeking out Jango Fette was more like an investigation that a Private investigator would do. The council asked him to bring jango before them, and obi-wan had no intention on fighting, but jango had other idea's)

(You must be pretty bad if you think 1300 is good.)

NO! Oblix u complete Twonkthe point i made is that if someone has a PvP rating of greater than 13 hundered means that they do some PvP and can be considered a BH target. So save your obnoxiois personal attacks. Griefing Twonker. If you dont have anything worth saying then please keep it. Or else save you obnoxious comments for speaking directly to othewrs in person , u keyboard worrior you with a pvp rating that must be great lol
