Thread: Is this true?
Kinda new 2 this profession, so if this is a dumb or answered question, I apologize. Is it true that there are pure 'merchants' that buy item from weaponsmiths/armorsmiths/tailors/ect. and sell them @ their own personel shop? If so, how do you get in contact with a merchant 2 see about getting your wares sold 2 him? Thanks in advanced

A. Yes. At Investigation II you are able to be part of a team which can take over a Faction base. There are various, static NPC bases throughout the galaxy. Taking over the base requires a Bio Engineer, Bounty Hunter, Commando, and Smuggler. Successfully taking over a faction base will reward the Bounty Hunter with 1000 Investigation XP.

Yes i did it last night.. ANd it requires those 4 and also a squad leader.

Amusingly enough as far as I can tell this only works for Imperials right now. This can be done against NPC factional bases (which are always rebel right now) or player bases if you know their 2 hour vulnerability window.
However asI said, it seems at the current time the terminals have been removed on many imperial bases for some reason.
I had also talked to 3 CSRs, including one of the Lead CSRs who confirmed that uplink terminals were removed on some bases due to severe bugs.
But if you're a Rebel like me, you're used to getting screwed over anyways 
I was talking to a guy today who was looking to buy a Holocron. I have 4 and asked him what his offer was. He said 50k and I immediatly told him not to get scammed by anyone, that they are useless unless you have opened your FS slot. He then began to tell me that:
Holocrons are now being dropped that will tell you waht professions you must master in order to open the FS slot. He said his guild had a post that was copied from some forum on there forum. He said the developers did this because they were getting nervous that noone had opened the slot yet.
My question is this...if you have to kill dark jedi, force sensetive withches, or run missions on extremly difficult planets to get holocrons...unless your a master CH, how are you supposed to get these things? I just dropped master CH to go doctor instead. I will have no chance hunting forse sensetive witches on Dathmir as a pistoleer. What the hell is a master musicain supposed to do?

Well that is a question most of the people have been asking here, so far the devs didn't came up with a solution and IMO, they never will.. or atleast not for awhile sadly..
Well sadly your screwed, best thing to do is hope one of your friends that can kill them will let you tag along and will actually split the holocrons up with you, thats what I'm having to do. Or you can spend more then a million credits buying one or you can go ahead and master every profession in hope that you will master the ones required to open your FS slot. Oh and the holocrons that you have now are now shards, you need the new complete holocrons to actually help you find your path to unlocking the fs slot.
