Thread: How to fight ppl with super sabers? need advise!
Just out of curiosity what are the stats on your armor? this means is it sliced? what resists?
Also whats your ranged defense? were you using any foods?

FYI: There are plenty pre-curb saber that have 1,0 modified speed.
np to do specials with them every 2 seconds.
Seen it myself - they all have 100Action cost though.
it is possible but not legal

Why exactly are you using a Nyms Slug-thrower Carbine?
Why use Nym's? My Nym got the following damage stats (un pup'd): 360-719 (kinetic) and 175 elemental. Elemental damage isn't mitigated at all by defences and kinetic damage isn't mitigated by PSGs. This weapon will also get you a really high min damage - 360+175=535
All this will get you a weapon that is really good against master defenders and isn't affected by PSGs. This means you'll hit MUCH harder with a Nym against a master defender with improved aura running than you would with a damage capped elite carbine or even a damage capped ALR (even without PSG). You would need some godly accuracy mods (like above 600 modified accuracy) to out damage a Nym against a master defender with imp aura and no states (even without PSG)...

Super-sabers will eventually die out once pre-CU sabers become rare.
Until then, the only thing to do is fight as hard as we can or we die in the process.
Its not that. Eh not totally sure on all the componets needed, but items like pearls and crystals are only dropping as "good"Prememium & Flawless pearls & crystals are the things that make "super sabers"
The thing is they dont drop anymore and I have heard rumors of them dropping again soon.
Thats why the pearls you see that sell for 20 mil each are worth so much. Pre cu you could loot them, now you cant.
Well your right about not being able to loot premium or flawless pearls but they are not required to make a "Super Saber". Fair through Flawless crystals and pearls have the same ability to get a perfect tune but flawless and premium pearls have a better chance of actually getting a perfect tune. The higher the quality the higher the change of a better tune. But getting a perfect tune off a fair crystal is possible just not probable.

How do you fight a guys like this who has a super fast saber?

This was just me being sarcastic. Its an example of the new "super macros" that cut cooldown in half. Cooldown for saberthrow for a master lightsaber with imp force speed is 4 seconds, andthis guy isnt even master lightsaber. I have tested it with a 700 dps 730 max damagepre-cu saber. I also know how this explotis done, and its so very simple and so very wrong.
keep in mind that all sabers will at one point "once they fix the whole pearl/crystal drop/tuning will pretty much be 700+ dmg.
just pray you don't run into a jedi with a trully super pre-cu saber because you will be getting a reality check

Its not an exploit its a bug. This is possible through normal gameplay. Point your finger at the devs and not the player. This is a direct result of lazy programming.

nothing super about that saber really he is hiting legaly as he hits you for once every 2 secs dmg to be honest is nothing crazy.. as someone stated before he got hit for 1.2k with 8k armor... i must say that that saber is nothing super.

Dude i am a guy with with a super saber. An yes i can hit every 2 seconds with different attacks, but i sure as hell cant spam saberthrow every 2 second, no jedi can do this without speed macros. This isntabout the saber damage its about the speed which isnt possible unless u cheat.

That the literal definition of exploiting BTW. Intentionally using a bug to circumvent the intended operation of the game.

Bah, you are right about that but this bug is almost unavoidable for some people including myself. I am not going to stop alternating between saber power hit and my quicker hitting attacks because the Devs are lazy programmers. Yes some people have macros that make this intentional but the fact that I do it all the time unintentional says somthing about the programming. Stop pointing your finger at me and point it elsewhere.
