I know this opinion is going to be unpopular...but see if you can get 1 or 2 jedi friends you trust to practice with. Duel them. Get in a voice-chat session with them and let them give you some pointers as to what's working, and what's not. Try everything. You'll only get better with practice. People may have walkthroughs and such on here...but the fact of the matter is that each jedi plays differently. If you simply go with a system...you're dead. Learn how to deal with a variety of things, be they runners, riflemen, defenders, etc. Each fight is different. You just need a little practice against some of the better jedi out there. (wouldn't hurt to ask a highly PvP-ranked jedi for a practice fight.)

There are a few things you could do.

Of course you always need to practice on your jedi buddies. The only way to figure out how to beat a jedi is to know how a jedi works. Most jedi I know like to use Armor Breaks and roots. There are a couple ways around this.

1.) If you feel like you can, get the ranged Cyber arms. attacking from 80M is a big advantage in any fight. Even at the cost of some armor rating.

2.) Never use Bacta Toss! That is a no no. The self rooting will allow a jedi to catch up to you.

3.) Simply snare then and keep them as far away as possible.. Starting out with KD might not be the best thing to do. Maybe starting with a snare and waiting to save that KD till they get closer to you. Never let a jedi get within 32 M of you.

There are some very brutal tactics stated by the other people here. But the best thing is to be patient. If your jedi is on Dant then you have got a good chance he is grinding. Stalk your prey. Follow him around.. watch him from as far away as possible. Bring a group of 5 or 6 friends who are willing to act like they are grinding with you.

IF your jedi is on Kashyyk then the first palce to check would be the ryatt trails. Alot of kashyyk jedi will grind AFK now so they can be easy kills. Also with the constant stream of wooks you will get jedi that are low on force. If they are not in the ryatt trail then you could check the Caverns, but chances are they are down at the bottom killing the NK.

If a Jedi is in thier house or in a city do not go near. Just because they are in thier house and you run close enough to see the door and cover doesn't mean they didn't see your dot suddenly disapear. All they have to do is send one of thier friends to go run by you and then they can keep a tab on where you are at.

Being a BH is a game of patience. Outlasting your target through wit and sometimes pure luck are what will get you to killing a good amount of jedi.

not very likely at all. you may find an afk that is low on health but unless they are a real low padawan they'll have plenty of force. most guys over 180K or so will probably never drop below 80% force during a bad spawn AT the keyboard.

I'm actually quite upset that I don't get hunted by BHs any more. The one BH I faced since Pub 20 quite the profession after I beat him...not joking he really did. Now I never get hunted...I expected this publish to be more fun w/ the random duels. Now Jedi have it WAY too easy. Though the gank squad thing is finished, which is a good thing, it shouldn't have ended all BHs from hunting!!! haha! I think they should drastically increase the BH payouts. 50k for a full temp? Not worth it.

Ive only had 2 Bh encounters since pub 20, the first was a fast kill, he made a couple big goofs. The second was a 90minute stalemate. As far as payout if he would have killed me he would have got a bonus that would make it equal to or more than the pre pub 20 payout.

Hey there guys, im a new bounty hunter and was lucky enough to get master after publish 20. Now i regard myself as not the best PVP player, but not the worst either, I can use skills in the right situations well, but i can't pull any magic with em.

Now as a new Bounty hunter I templated myself to MBH/Master carbineer and CM 4000. Ok so my first 5 missions were full templates....being a new BH i obviously got eaten. Eventually I was lucky enough to get my first padawan, that didnt go to well, he used forced run and hid himself in his house while he sent taunting tells at me. At this point i got rather frustrated and swapped Master carbineer for maste rifleman to get more range incase another nub like that happens to try and run, that way id get range and gun him down.

Ever since then ive got nothingbut full template jedi missions. Now i know there are some amazing PVP players that might kill full templates...but i find it impossible. Ive tried everything possible 8k energy resist armour, capped t-21 rifle, good variety of food. but the full template jedi always comes out on top.

Ok fine I wouldnt mind killing a few jedi template afterwards as soon as im used to the system killing padawans. One main reason i chose to become a BH is because of...ya know....$$$........well ive lost more money than made more money.

So what am I supposed to do? Dont tell me that im a n00b who cant kill full templates and make it sound like everyone can.....well I cant.

I just wanna know how you guys kill em, Ive had a skim read through ajianaas "how to kill full template guide" but that was deleted for some reason.

Please Im looking for answers besides...."look for another prof"....because imho....the life of the jedi is supposed to be more difficult than the life of a BH.

Thank you.....

do what everyone else does to make money...loot
