I understand your frustration. I believe when they made the payouts random, they instantly stopped the progression of ALL new BH coming into the profession. I was fortunate enough to begin my jedi hunting on 150k and gradually worked my way up to enjoying the full template fights and garnered some respect on that front -- though still can't seem to beat a MLS/MDef since I don't have the firepower, even after timing my attack perfectly right after a big PvE battle last night (according to the JK mark it was timed perfectly).
Keep sharpening your skills dueling jedi even if you don't take the missions. I personally think that's where you need to focus your time. You're not ready for the 1 in 10 chance that your mark is not a full template and the 1 in 20 that they're online. Use your time better and you'll improve.
Hang in there,
oh and out of 5 jedi, all were master or darn near full template.
is it too much to ask for to get a padawan to slap around? ![]()
expect them to be full template. stock up on food, stims and buffs.. the buffs wont last long, but should help you through their initial attack.
wellI think it was 1 out of 7 missions was a padawan.....who just hid himself.
May I also ask why SOE has made a padawans life so easy?
I mean afk kashyyyk grinding......
Barely beeing hunted anymore by BH..........
With the right equipment and food you should stand a chance.
Armor - Go with Recon armor, better for hunting Jedi. Use your other armor for when out grinding or something.
Clothing - you know you can wear clothes under some armor right? and if you find a good vendor most the clothes will have slots for attachment. Only increases your chances of survival.
The T-21 is a really good rifle, sounds cool too, but personally I go with the Adv Laser. I didn't know the difference between the two until the guy makin it for me explained that they both are almost identical except the T-21 has less accuracy.
(Insert Plug for Weapon maker here) - Corbantis server, look up Vyros or Subai.. they make the best weapons.
Food - There's allot of variations here with the food, if you know a Chef ask him to hook you up. It just depends on what you are wanting at the time, more range, more defense, etc. etc...

This is true except for Wookiees. Does anyone know if there are any Wookiee items that have sockets and stack with armor?

I personally find that if my initial flurry of KD followed by coincussion fails I am in for a long fight that I will normally lose. If I can kd then root them in that position with adv concussion from M. Smuggler then they are hurting. I can then send in a 2000 point bomb and time a critical hit with the bomb. Unless they are using a force crystal to get 5k of health this usually Incap them. If not I concussion again and decide if I want ot run or fight it out. Usually to my death. It is really helpful to get them on their backs though. THen all their inate armor goes to crap on them. Also get 7k+ energy armor, all the KD tapes you can afford and a full armor break slice on every piece of armor. If they KD you and then armor break you, they will hit for 1300 to 1500 dmamage and kill you in 5 secs, period. SIce getting 7600 armor and a full armor break slice and about+26 worth of defense versus KD I ahve not been KD'd or had an armor break, I still often lose cause I do nothave the fire power of a Rifleman but I do not lose fast and that makes it a bit more enjopyable and most full temp Jedi's will appreciate that and give you accolades afterwards.
PS any MBH on Gorath that wants an armor slice give me a yell, I have all of the required components and will cut rebels a fair deal.
Hope it helps.
