Of course the jedi wannabe Cada Kaidoes notmention the real benefit to Kash/Ryatt trail grind. What other zone in the game offers no names as a mark and the ability to completely run an AFK macro and grind while you are sleeping? anyone? anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Some grind afk. That is a fact, stating that all do however is foolish. Generalizations based on the actions of some make your argument moot.
Jedi Wannabe? Wannabe what I have already completed? You make no sense.
I guess you are a Bounty Hunter WannaBe then right?
Jedi have found ways to grind afk since Jedi was brought into the game. They used to do it on top of private guild halls running Jedi healing macros.
If there is a way to do it some will figure out how. This is not a new issue, but for some reason every person who posts a thread about it thinks they are the first one to come up with it. Give it a rest.
This horse is officially dead.
My 1 1/4 cents added:
Not all Jedi on Kashyyyk are grinding on the trails. My friend has been there for a few days just completing some of the hundreds of quest missions there. hence, the thread title fulfilled.

They dont want to hear that,. They just want to hear about the afk jedi. Since thats all that exist in their minds.
Then really your friend is getting loot and cash rewards. So taking the XP out of the equation is not gonna hurt your friend. Not only that your friend is doing what the planet is designed for and should be free to explore the planet unmolested from a BH. This statement again proves my point that removing XP from the planet only hurts the exploiters. Not the ones there enjoying the adventures of the planet.

I posted this in the removal of XP from kashyyyk petition. But scince I dont agree with removing XPfrom Kashyyyk completely (even though I signed.) I wanted to start a feedbackthread on a reasonable idea:
I go to kashyyyk to hunt. I go to the hunting grounds, the ryatt trails and the other instances to explore and enjoy the new content we all asked for. I dont go there to grind XP.Kashyyyk was designed to be an adventure planet. I am ok with that concept and actually I love going there whenI want to enjoy a directed adventure with a group of friends. I personally dont think that it should give the same kind of XP as the grinding planets. If the DEVs really want to restrict it and "classify"it asan adventure planet then cutting XP to 10% of other planets is not unreasonable or really that punishing to anyone. There are pleanty of other planetsand dungeons to grindon. If I got 15 XP for killing a CL81 creature on kashyyk; but I finished a level of a quest I have been working on for 2+ hours and a piece of loot that I wanted, I would be happy. And I am sure others would be too. I have recieved pleanty of good loot and had good times from kashyyyk to support the idea of it being an adventure planet. But I know there are padawans grinding there not using it for that purpose. Using this planet as a safe haven from being hunted and grinding XP would be pefroming actions uninteded by the developement team. Thus classifying this as an exploit. So to make it less tantalizing to the exploiters. Remove the XP gain but keep all the loot and cash rewards the same. If a player is really there to adventure and have fun going through the quests then I think they should be unmolested by another player. But grinding out a template on an adventure planet is wrong and should be discouraged by reducing XP to a severely low level.
Comments?
Why do you care if somebody gets XP there? How does it affect your life?
Why don't you just play the game the way you want to and leave others to play it their way?

I really think that after pub 20 you will see less people grinding there.

Now that their own group doesnt give vis I am sure most if not all will go take the NoVis/BetterXP off Kashyyyk grinding solution.
Besides Wookies will still give Vis so there is mroe risk there than on another planet.
Oh, not so. Just for kicks, I checked it out - I was hunting a Jedi who, as it turns out, was on Kash (I know, what a shock!) and decided to give it a try. I did not know his name, so figured I'd TAB through quickly.
I started with Instance 6 - Rryatt Trail and worked up. I finally found my mark in Instance 3. Guess what I saw in the four instances that I visited - groups of Jedi grinding. There were at least 30 Jedi in total, and I never even checked in Instances 1 or 2.
I am sad to saw that my hunt did not have a happy ending. I ended up standing at the base of a bridge looking right at my mark, but the system somehow said that I could not see the target! Yes, I am being slightly sarcastic, but he actually used the LOS exploit and even went LD there.

You just proved my point. Even though you got LUCKY and found the particular instance your jedi was grinding in 29 other Jedi were grinding there. You still couldnt finish your mission because of the LOS exploit.
Before Kashyyyk Jedi found many other places to afk grind. The difference between now and then is that we cant hunt them and make them pay for exploiting the system.
I say again in a general plee: Remove or severely reduce XP on kashyyyk!!!!!!!!
The basic reply from the Dev's is that this is an adventure planet. Yet it is being used as a grinding planet. Other exploits have been addressed quickly and severely yet this one goes unatteneded.
WHY????????
Retarded thinking, instead fix the LOS issues and offer a 100k bonus to jedi's grinding on Kash since it's a bit harder to get to them there.
Oh and put a BH terminal right next to the starport.... Hey, it IS imperial controlled, and they ARE the ones wanting us to hunt jedi. hehe.
P>S. When I say Retarded thinking, what I actually mean is that this is not progressive thinking and that you should stop lowering yourself to the way the developers think.

Hunting Jedi on kashykk is really, really easy. Everytime I pull a misision for it it is like shooting fish in a barrel. I wonder if the people complaining about it simply have never gone out and actually done it.
I admit, I didn't like the no names but my last 3 kills have been on the Ryatt Feral Wookie trails.....they were ALL AFK,
