Stopping Shot and Fan Shot are still good specials, and Pistol Melee Defense 1 is handy if you are close and want to KD to switch to TK.

I enjoyed Pistoleer and TK (of course I had Smuggler too, but that's a different template) and wouldn't mind doing it again later.

If you DO take Pistoleer, remember the Republic Blaster ... it's your best weapon at rifle ranges, that's it's best range. It makes it really handy to start a bleed on ONE creature...

I found out that master brawler is one of the best mastered professions. I am currently a Master Fencer/Master Brawler/TKM, and I love intimidate 2. I also find it useful since you get a knockdown for each weapon. It is more useful for master fencer since the fencer profession gets no knockdown skill. It is also good for TKA, since you can knock him down with knockdown 2, then again with lunge if Im not mistaken. I believe you also get a little ranged and melee defense. Compared to master marksman...it is completely worth it. I hope I helped.

im a master carbiner, master terakasi, and a master marksman

i have relieved that guns suck in this game but keeping carbiner alittle longer

my question is, is it worth dropping master marksman and getting master brawler??

does brawler give u any defense for pvp or help u at all but itemidate 2?

OK guyz...I will be unlocking in a week or so, and just want to find a template that will suit me. I would like it to be evenly balanced on Pve and Pvp first of all. I will kinda list what I am interested in doing, then let you masters of Jedi sift through it, and perhaps help me get a template out of it.


Force Run (this is needed...you guyz determine if I need 1 or 2)

Powers (I was really liking the intimidate tree...area KD would be awesome also)

Saber (I can care less what saber I use or if I master. you guyz decide)

Healing (I would like to beable to heal myself....kinda like a Doctor could with wounds etc..)


So here is what I came up with....let me know.


M. Enhancer

Healer 4004

Saber 4004

Powers 0032


I would beable to heal myself, kd 1, intimidate 1, weaken 2, have ok saber ability, and have force run/meditate/channel etc.


Basically I dont ever PvP alone, so just need a template that I can Pve decently....and protect myself from BH's. And be fairly ok in PVP while with my guild. What you guyz think? If you wanna talk ingame...im on Bloodfin name is Propz or Gyza (alt).

One thing that you need which I changed my mind to is MASTER SABER. Master Enchaner is really not needed and Forcerun2 is good enough to get away. I have been doing alot of PvP and intimdation is not need if you are a master saber, In Pve it would be needed though becuase of the lack of armor. It is really hard to say if you haven't tried it everyone has a differrent twist. Depending how much force you want total to how many skills you want total. All I can say at this point is that master saber is a must.

first of all, please don't write guys with a z


I would advise you to go 1040 powers instead of 0032 as you will get area intimidate, and lightning 1

what does lightning do? and how far up the tree is it before its an area attack? intimidate 1 isnt area? Also, for pvp...isnt KD usefull? I know as a TK I use it all the time in both pvp and pve

I know a jedi on my server that doesn't have Master Sabers, but he does have Master Powers and he does great in PVP. I will say the biggest boost in overall power for me was the day I hit master saber.

The KD you will get in MLS is better than the one in powers right now. Spend your 14 pts on something else.

My plan is for this template; mainly PVE but some PVP too I hope


MLS

Enh 3002

Healer 4004

Powers 4040


That gives the obligatory MLS, force run 1, force speed 2, transfer force, heal all self 2, heal all states, full force lightning skills (minus thr master bonuses), force weaken 2 and area intimidate.


I'm debating even dropping healer to 3004 if buffs become less, as (hopefully) heal all self 2 won't be as necessary as it is now. The pick up enh 4002 for force run 2.

A very good all around PvP/PvE template...that would allow you to forcerun, channel force, have some defense for PvE/PvP and the ability to not only heal but also heal your wounds/BF like you orignally wanted is this:


Master Saber

Healer 4204

Enhancer 2004 or 4002 depending on whether you want the faster Force run or drain force and Med...

Defender 4000


Another good option would be:


Master Saber

Enhancer 4404

Healer 4404


You lose some defense, however you gain Force armor for the times you need it...and have more force power than the above template...little better for jedi vs jedi.


Powers is a useful skill, however most people who use it successfully go for master so they can stack weaken, Intim, Lightning and choke.


As for KD, with master saber you have an area KD using saber throw3 anyways, so Powers KD is redundant until they make it work against those with KD resist...
