Funny that you should mention he should be in a private house. Look how much bitching the bounty hunter profession does when we do.
Yeah always kill a jedi when they are afk. If they are dumb enough to be afk in plain sight,
He was cloaked cloaked = not in plain sight... whos the dumb one now?
The hard reality is that this game is filled with other flesh and blood people playing their characters here, and when you hurt and harm their characters, you are hurting the people behind them, and deep inside you know this or you would not derive so much pleasure from it. If you want to hunt jedi do it honorably. If the jedi doesnt want to fight, find a mark who wants to, as you all are so fond of saying, there are jedi everywhere.
I find it sad that this question actually had to be asked. The answer is what you did was extraordinarily dishonorable and does not speak well of you at all. The fact that your conscience bothered you enough to ask this question shows that you are probably not beyond hope.
Spend your time here honorably and you will find the game alot more enjoyable for you and everyone else here.

I often refrain from posting in this forum do to the almost total lack of regard for the fact that jedi are in reality other players sitting behind keyboards trying to enjoy the game like all the rest of you. This post just further proves my point. I sometimes find it amazing that players come to this virtual universe filled with people from all over the world, bent on the idea of wreaking hurt and harm on those other players and thinking there is nothing wrong with this behavior, "it is just a game" they say.

Jedi are not flesh and blood people, they are paychecks, plain and simple. Get used to it.
It's unfair to tell BH to "find a mark who wants to be hunted." The only Jedi who really want to hunt are all full templates, a very difficult kill for many BH. Furthermore, BH cannot pick and choose Jedi to hunt... it usually takesa good twenty minutes or so minimum to locate a mark or any type, and you can't know who your mark is until this point. What do you do, send a /tell and ask if he wants you to attack him?
Furthermore, if a Jedi does not want to be hunted, he should work harder to avoid visibility. He also should not be AFK in public *even if cloaked*. AFK killing may be "dishonorable" to some (to me, even) but it would less honorable, in a role-playing sense, to take a contract to kill someone and then decide not to carry it out, or to wait until the enemy is better prepared. That's common sense.
i get afk jedi all the time, they're either at theed or on dantooine
its so funny, i'll kill them within seconds, spend the reward money, and then forget about it, and then an hour later get all sorts of hate mail from him and his friends.
him- "why dont you come meet me at theed and we'll have a db match"
me- " I already had mine today... where were you?"
if you're jedi and afk, then you're asking for it. Im a jedi/bh hybrid and i never go afk... ever
it only takes 30 seconds to logout

AM/PM the gas station franchise? Well I guess you may not be in the U.S.
Old player, new account. *shrug*
A simple reply to the jedi who posted about this kind of tactics being dishonorable, ect, ect and BHs should not do it.
Shut up. Thanks.
Jedis are only on the terminals due to visibility. How did they get visibility? Killing my faction NPCs? Killing innocent NPCs minding their own business at their bases/lairs? Killing other players? Dueling in front of highly populated areas even though they are WELL aware of bounties placed on known jedis? And so forth.
To be plain and simple, you, the jedi, put YOURSELVES on the terminals. The BHs did not take your toon and make them attack a faction base, duel by starports, or whatever. The BHs did not make you think it would be ok stand in the middle of nowhere and go afk after you pretty much know that you are on the terminals. Thats all you my friends.
You know you are jedi. You know what actions cause visibility. You know BHs will hunt you if you have visibility. You know how to aviod stupid or poor kills. You know we are coming. So stop blaming us for the obvious!
"Don't do things to harm/hurt others.' Bah, how many times do i see jedis roll into a simple non-jedi SF base assault/defense and run right over the opposing side. Hundreds. Think that hurt/harmed those poor non-jedi's playing experience and fun? Hmm? Cry me a river and build me a bridge. When I stop seeing jedi mopping the floor with non-jedis who are only defending their bases, I'll stop hunting afk jedi. Plain and simple.
On the rp aspect, if there is any left in swg, BHs are not honorable folks. Get that through your thick skulls. Read the books, watch the movies. BHs are scum. BHs are double-dealing, two-timing, use-every-dirty-trick-in-the-book-for-cash people.
Enjoy the touch of reality on your small world jedi. You put yourself on the terminals. WE just take you off. Stay off them and you'll not have a problem.
