Thread: How do you deal with a Cloaker?
There are 2 ways to look at this issue. If you get a cloaker and he escapes using cloak, he's done his job and used a skill that took him a LONG time to grind whilst sacrificing alot of either offence or defence. The way you have to look at it is that if he wasnt a cloaker, he'd be corpse humping you while you headed for the nearest clone facility.
The cloak skill is designed to allow the Jedi to escape since most BH are stronger than a cloaker just think yourself lucky you got a cloaker and not a master LS / Def

Not 100% on this but im pretty sure thats considered griefing.
I turned on the simple shadows on the control panel. When they are cloaked their shadow shows up on the terrain. This will eventually be fixed, but it works right now. I am under the impression that they cannot do anything while cloaked, like heal, attack, etc lest the cloak will drop, am I correct?
I typically DON'T deal with cloakers though, for the obviously frustrating aspect of it. But if forced, I can usually kill them.

Anything involving the name is an exploit, we had some BHers exploiting other methods, untill they were permabanned.

I have to admit, this is the best advice I've seen regarding cloak. Because everyone else forgets other details about cloaking in there, "Tips", on handling cloakers. If a cloaker doesn't want to duel, they won't.
Given the current XP nerf and the fact I am migrating my template, I am choosing not to duel. After Pub22, it would take me days to get back the XP I would loose. And I am too busy to go into hiding, it's no fun. So I am not dueling. I win nothing and most of the time when I get incapped, it's lag or timer bug. So I have too many hours to loose for a 30 min duel to entertain a BH. Sorry, I'll do it later on my time, not yours.

Had him Knocked Down a few times and was putting the hurt on. Suddenly he was gone. the waypoint showed him last next to a house so I figured he had ran inside. How do you deal with someone that cloaks?
if your on bria just tell me you have my mission and i will decloak and fight ya straight up. BH are pests to me for the most part. but i cant usually tell if some random person has my mission or not so being cloaked pretty much 100% of the time is part of my game plan. makes me a bit mysterious and all that dark jedi stuff.
