Nope, it's keeping exactly what a command of the living force can do for someone trained in it.
You know some lightsabers do not even have an on/off switch on the outside of hilt? You have to use the force to trigger them on/off.
So, throwing an object and bringing it back with the force should be no problem.
I just wish SWG Jedi could pull an attackers weapon away from them and grab them in their hand, or wave their hand, "I'm not the bounty your looking for, go after that dancer instead..."

By that same token a saber should chop your arms off and a direct shot by a BH to someones head should disintigrate it or at least put a large hole in it

Well how about Force Healing? Where in any of the movies did you EVER see a Jedi use Force Heal? Whenever Mace's hand got cut off did he: A.) Channel the force to heal his superficial wound and continue fighting or B.)Yell like a littlegirl and get knocked out the window?

yes, also in this respect, eyeshot w/ a scatter pistol should blow the jedi's head off

Not to be too much of a geek about it, but if you're looking for an instance of the saber throw in the Star Wars universe, I believe Luke used it in Heir To The Empire.

wish it was realistic you dont know how many times i wake up in the morning to my neighbor making such loud sounds i know hes less than 32m just wish i could saberthrow him and knock him out for the incap so i could get more sleep!!
